price is retailing at rm799 .. according to them rm100 more expensive than the pure storm ... anyways i think first batch will b a bit expensive .. coz all of them dun hav enuff stock .. so kena slaughter lah .. but dun mind lah since been waiting so long...
btw the racq doesn't come with cover ... just plastic ...

comparing apdgt and psgt .. i still think pure storm gt's paintjob is much nicer coz it's glossy ...

here u go brother (prae) .. my initial assessment on the racq:

just got back from an awesome session with ular. one of our better days. i just have one thing to say about the APDGT.. iT ROCCCCKKKSSS!!!! . some of you might hate me now .. hehe... but i'm totally in luv with this stick right now ...

There's a reason why tennis-warehouse gav it a 84 (the highest for all the GT range). Still can't believe how nice it felt. The amount of spin you can generate from this stick will just blow your mind.

I started with my trusty PSGT. played probably a good 30min with it so that Viper can have a benchmark between both racqs (since he's on the receiving side). From his feedback, the change was quite dramatic.. the psgt was flatter and with the apdgt he was pinned at the baseline most of the time and much harder to anticipate the kick off the ground.

As for the feel, ground stroke is so easy and spin is just wicked. I can take bigger swing at it and still every shot goes down just right at the baseline. Thus giving better control. Forehand has never felt so much easier .. the pace generated is spectacular. I hav a weak crosscourt FH.. and tend to overswing and chances of going out very high. But with the APDGT .. most of my cross-court goes in n kicks up high to draw the opponent out.


Serves, i did a few .. way much easier to hit than my PSGT. Basically this racquet is loaded with power and spin potential. Contact is also very solid and no vibration. Tried with dampener and without. Both playable. Keeping rallies and returning hard shots are relatively easier as well since the natural swing of the racq tends to generate tonnes of spin.

Summary, for me .. i think this is my new luv. By far best racquet of the year (to date). But not giving up on my PSGT. both plays very different. PSGT more towards flatter .. lower clearance shots... APDGT, easier and more power to bring the ball down.. also more consistency.

Temped to buy another APDGT...hehe... mayb try out a grip 2 (since nadal using one now) .. haha


BLX 6.1 95 - Tough racquet .. find it very hard to play with ... too stiff .. after 10min of playign iwht it .. my arm felt like jello .. and quite hard to generate spin .. prob not that suitable for my style of playing but i'll keep that piece just to complement my bag

dun say review lah bro ..hahaha... just own personal hitting exp onli .. frankly just rallying .. not really into tourneys etc.. just wanna hav a solid whack at the ball ... so all based on that ... nothing fancy .. just pure RAGE !! ..

rm300 is way too low bro esp the Head speedMP ... i think was retailing ard rm999 last time... so u'll hav to dig deeper dude... can giv u a bit more discount but not that low lah

haha .. really gd racquet dude... was afraid i'll be disappointed like the blx .. but caught me by surprise how much better it plays compared to the psgt .. but then again .. both racqs gives me great satisfaction ...

yahlah blx sedih onli . but i bought it knowingly that i might not like it .. i tried chris and ck's k6.1 95 .. din like it that much as well ... however the funny bit is the n6.1 95 i kinda like it ... weird... anyways will not giv up that soon .. will try out the blx 6.1 95 again ... if not will just keep it to keep my bag company ..

from all the racquets i have and collected... i find that ery racq has it's own character and gives you different effects... so to me .. still oklah .. diff diff style loh .. since i'm not into competition etc...



p/s: btw faris and saiful. your new APDGT racquets i've mailed it already via citilink with insurance .. hope u enjoy it as much as i've did.

not really .. the apdc power is a bit harsh and don't hav solid contact... whereas the apdgt has a more solid feel. i duno if u call this dampened lah .. but i kinda like it ... coz i dun like the twangy feeling of the pdrgt which tho has loads of power . but the contact feels very hollow... the apdgt's contact felt more real and solid. much to my amazement .. shares the pocketing feel of the psgt ...

i've wrote i think few posts ago .. go chk it out .. so far i'm happy with it .. more powerful than my psgt lah ... so it's all good

coz i pre-booked v early lah .. esp the grip 3 ...

nolah .. those 3 because i preorder only ... if not also dun hav so fast... anyways prob will hit the shelves next week or so ..

i took the white but din hav time to even hit with it at all .. i returned it coz some japanese ladies wanna try it out this weekend.. peter will pass me the exo3white again by next week ...

it's retail price that i'm quoting .. PSGT retailing for rm699 here ... APDGT pricetag by RSH is rm799 ...

@kevin ... any updates on the grommets ? n6.1 95 and the psgt ? tks bro ..
