Hey guys...

i just wonder if i wanna string up my BLX 6.1 95 with full synthetic, what tension shud i go ... i've totally no exp on synthetic strings... always a poly user. so i've no idea the range for synthetic to match the playability of the poly .. Thought give it a try since i broke 2 strings this morning... my BLX 6.1 95 and also the PUre Storm GT .. and worst i brought 2 racqs to court only .. dua dua pun putus ... Gonna string up poly for the PSGT and synthetic for the 6.1 95.

I want the synthetic to hav tension matching around a 48lbs-50lbs poly on the BLX 6.1 95 ...





wow SGD99 is cheap ... i bought mine $79 USD last time ...

yo brudder... one of the dealer says early this week .. another guy is saying slight delay .. apparently it's here already but too limited and they are having a hard time to distribute it (politics i think).. anyways i'll let u know once i get any updates fr both dealers ...

haha... we think alike... i was thinking of setting it at 55lbs as well. and hopefully will play more comfortable... it's a tough racq to use the blx 6.1 95 ..

mmm... i think to seriously comment abt it right now wudn't be that accurate...Firstly coz i feel the stringer did a poor job and very suspicious that she even key in the right tension. Secondly i bought a wrong overgrip which caused my palm to blister yet again (damn wilson grips)...
maybe wait for my 2nd string job then i can wrtie something here...

p/s: so far the only thing that kinda cool abt this racq is the blocking shot. i just have to reach the ball and not even use any energy .. the ball will go back over the net... be in FH or BH.. that's how stiff it is ... just gotta touch it ..

yah i wish they carry more L3 here... still waiting to get my L3 APDGT .. latest update .. end of this week ..

yah exactly .. however it's also what the suppliers bring here... coz we're just limited what they bring here in malaysia. Supplier mindset.. ASIAN small hands, get grip 2 .. WESTERN big hands .. grip 3 ... at least that's what the dealers are telling me. even they placed orders for grip 3 .. still they don't get it coz the bulk of grip 3 goes to US

It's called a smart kit. where you can enlarge your original grip size to L3-4-5 i think.... anyone interested ? cost ard rm49.

so far i bought but sayang wanna take out the original grip. Coz i think you gotta strip your handle bare.. then put the smart kit on and it comes with a replacement grip already ... so it's said to enlarge your grip size according to what size you wnat.. l3, l4 w/o compromising the feel.. meaning u'll still feel the bevel..

let me know if anyone keen on trying ... can let u b the guinea pig .. lolx .. i got stock in hand

basically this smart grip will make the bottom half of the handle bigger.. so for double handed u need to buy another piece...

i also dunno lah .. hehe.. just pointing out the options out there

i hav no answer for u bro .. wat i can say is that ery racq has diff balance point .. so timing is crucial when serving ... so mayb u just gotta adjust more since it's a new racq

yah i'm using 2 overgiprs on top of the original for both my psgt and blx.. i'm ok with the soft feeling of the grip ...

ur twin also bought the same racq dude ...lolx...
