haha just a thought... wonder if u had any idea on tat
I have played on clay courts, its extremely easy on the knee's and shoes, abit slippery if you use normal hardcourt tennis shoes, it doesn't hurt if you fall down, though it may look like it hurts, esp if you drive a Boris Becker 'dive' volley.
I remember using Adidas Stefan Edberg shoes for the court the one with his 'S E' logo on the shoe tongue, reaally durable.Things I liked about clay, hehehe when you play it feels kinda exclusive :-o! ,low maintenance for tennis shoe, I played 8 months on just clay and my shoe sole still looked quite brand new.Not like now ARRRGGG play 2 months on hardcourts have to ganti to new pair of shoes.....
Hahahaha I found my old pair of Adidas shoes on ebay!
http://global.ebay.com/Vintage_80s_Adidas_...0552340701/itemBut holy crap I paid SGD160-180 for those babies when I bought them. Damn these were built like a tank@!
One thing I didn't really enjoy on clay courts......high moonballs to my backhand, I was still a teen, my backhand(single) was decent but not advance level yet......
If you have a chance to try clay courts go for it. Sliding, you have to start early and 'slide' into your shots....
