Well, best is you tried the keyboard/touchpad first, since different model has the different feel. Since in this case, performance is almost similar.

If what you interested in is their small footprint, I would recommend Acer 1410T@RM1499 or Acer 1810TZ@RM1899, they both are 11.6'' and still capable giving around 5 hours battery life with performance better than Intel Atom since they are using Intel Celeron, Single core(1410T) or Intel Pentium Dual-Core(1810TZ) with better Intel GMA 4500M HD... else just pick the one you like since for netbook, pretty much just down to preferences or battery life...

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Mar 11 2010, 06:49 PM) 13-14'' wise, Asus A42Jr with i5 520M + ATi HD5470@RM2999 would offer better CPU and GPU wise than others, with 2 years global warranty. Dell wise, Dell Inspiron 14, i5 430M + ATi HD4330@RM2499, weaker CPU, GPU but with onsite warranty... If you don't mind 17.3'' profile, Vostro 3700 would offer better deal though, i5 430M + Nvidia GT 330M@RM2849 Thx bro... would go check out the deals in Low Yat.....

You mean >RM 2K or <RM2K? Around RM2.5K fine? Lenovo G460, i3 350M + Nvidia 310M@RM2399 or Asus A42Jr, i3 350M + ATi HD5470@RM2599

Vostro 3700 would be better if you want to game since it has much better GPU, Nvidia GT 330M.
If you solely looking for gaming performance, BenQ S42@RM2699 would be better than the Asus A42Jr with its Nvidia 9600M GT while retaining 14'' form factor, but its using Core 2 Duo P8700

i am not looking for gaming performance.Just good enough to process and hopefully it won't lag.For gaming,i think will have some dota and so on.17" is it really not good for viewing.
