Not good for viewing? 17'' certainly will give better viewing but the problem is when travelling with it, its weight 2.9KG alone and with its form factor, it might be troublesome...

oh i see,so 17" will have a better view?(my friend said that 14" has a better view)Then i don't see any problem with me already.2.9kg shouldn't be lot of burden to me.
Do you advice me to buy the vostro 3700 when it is still on promotional price now or wait for the promotion over?

Better view as in what you mean? Angle viewing?

Well, the thing is we don't know what will happened after promotion over, worst, the price increase by another RM650, which makes Studio XPS 16 be a wiser choice...

You also can choose colour or 64-bit Windows, just need to inform them...

Dear All Lowyatster,

I want to buy a notebook/laptop... but dont know which one is better to purchase.
I try DELL, but end up i have to cancel my order due to delivery and some technical problem on their side (penalty charges RM80 for canceling). vmad.gif

My budget for this notebook is around RM2.5k
- Requirement i5 Processor
- 4G ram
- better graphic card
- and the normal spec

Usage of this notebook/laptop is to watch movie, play games, online, Microsoft words, excel, and etc..
No graphic, video editing or any 3D modeling stuff..

Thanks for the advise. If possible can pay by installment. thumbup.gif

Thank you very much, notworthy.gif
Daniel

Compaq CQ41-214TX, i5 430M + ATi HD4350@RM2549
though better gaming performance would be Asus A42Jr/A52Jr, i3 350M + ATi HD5470@RM2599...

Actually down scalled to the scree's res. (which is @1366x768... or any other screen res)... the only typical notebook screen that actually does 720p (1280x720 @16:9) is the 1280x768 screen (that is actually 16:10)
