which brand is recommended is i'm not into mobile computing so much.
she prefers compaq tho. and she wanted to do some photo editing ocassionally.
was thinking Asus as they provide 2years warranty.

why dun go for the Compaq Cq41-208AU ?

It has ATi HD4200 which is just an integrated GPU.
ATi HD4570 or Nvidia G210M still better than it.

ATi HD4550 is a downclocked version of HD4570, with an overclocked it might better since it got DDR3 vram., it got the potential...
Still, overclocking in a notebook is not really suggested since the limited space and cooling...
