Hey guys, need recommendation on buying my laptop.

Preferable brand : Asus (model with core i5)

Budget: 3-3.5k

spec: preferably model with core i5 and an acceptable graphic processor

size: 15 inch

using it for assignment, some photo/video editing, and for games like L4D.

Hey guys, wanna ask something..

If I play games on a 16:9 laptop, will it become like stretched? or black bars on the side of the screen?

Because 16:9 is wider than 16:10 isn't it?

Let's say if I set my game resolution to 1680x1050 to fit my 16:9 screen.

what would happen? then resolution aspect ratio is 16:10 while my screen is 16:9.. surely it won't fit..

Cause I'm not sure if the game provide 16:9 resolution.

I wouldn't recommend an amd on a laptop.
I have heat issue with my 3-4 year old compaq few years ago, kept shutting down itself.
