Asus k40ab/50ab use amd rm-75(new)/amd ql-65(old) and ati hd4570 ddr2 vram
lenovo g450 use t6600 and nvidia g210m ddr2 vram.

the lenovo g450 is using core 2 duo t6600
as for Dell, with that budget, at most you can get intel gma 4500M HD.

Lenovo is the company.
Can't really comment much on its build quality, after all its value line from lenovo, the body quite sturdy, at least compared with my acer.

as for acer notebook and under 2k, only got either intel gma 4500m hd/intel HD or nvidia g105m (iinm), which both lose to nvidia g210m/ati hd4570 on previous notebook.
