@zeniaga, this is a discussion thread, there is no need to open a thread for it. Need to replaced the LCD, the connector part towards the lcd usually cracked will result in this. And also stop being rude to others.
@mashi83, most likely a game issue. the game hang right? and also discussion bout piracy is prohibited here smile.gif.

I have PSP 3001.

I have problem charging it.
I can't charge my PSP and the green light when charging does not light up.
Tried my friend's charger that is 100% working with his PSP but not mine.

I guess there something wrong with the "hole" that connect the charger.

maybe charging IC need to be replaced. that green light supposed to be orange when charging. have u used a cheapo charger before?

the "hole" is just 2 pieces of contact metal and plastic. seldom broken.

hi, i also have some problem with my psp. a few weeks ago i bought a psp battery. But then while playing it suddenly turns off. When tried to switch it on again nothing happens. But when I tried plugging the ac and tried to turn on the psp it works fine. But the moment i pulled the charger out the psp turns off. When I checked the battery information it was weird...

charge level : -
Hours left : -
Power source : external
battery status : -

I tried my original battery that i had when i bought the psp and a pandora battery. Both works fine, it was only the new battery that seems not to be working. Can anyone identify my problem?

no... No one knows what's causing the problem? I tried to google and find out for myself but the people that are having the same problem as me never said what's the cause or how to fix it sad.gif

@Ganzxel, test the new battery with other PSP first before we assume it's faulty.

IC means integrated circuits. it's a chip embedded on the motherboard. u can't do that by yourself. either send to shop or get it to some technician to replace it.

most shop will charge u rm180 for that.

thanks for the info.

Hmm, i forgot to tell you the reason why i am suspecting the "hole" was the problem.
It is not that i can't charge my PSP at all.
I can but with a few minutes adjusting the charger connector with the "hole".
Im so annoyed when adjusting it. doh.gif
This too happen when i tried my friend's fully working charger.

Possibility, the "hole"? or still the charger IC?
