whoa... it's been so long since i stop following homebrew development.
last time i update my psp is to CFW 5.00 M33-6 & still using it.
i think it is time for an upgrade. may i know what is the best CFW so far? my fren sd that 5.50 Prometheus V6 is the best.
can i update directly from 5.00 M33-6 to 5.50 Prometheus V6?
i try to google but i don't u/stand becoz too many CFW like GEN D2, D3, D4...

Is chickhen set? Try go setting see ur version 1st..

@OFFSPRING, u need to enable cfw in ur psp. chickhen just enable u to run some simple homebrews. but to enable a full homebrew support u need custom firmware.

I agree. Currently using a PSP-3006 Blue version. Compare with ver 1 & 2, the screen clarity is a big difference. Also have in flash memory 32GB. Happy with the number of games, videos and music video in it

psp3000 if brick, die lor. no chance of revival.
psp2000 non v3 n psp1000 if brick, no matter how many times oso still can revive suka hati 1.

Ops... sorry... so noob of me It should be 32GB of memory card storage. Yup, that's why for psp3000 maintain the 5.03 firmware.

I need to ask a very very noob question cos after reading from page 1 up to page 20++, still very blur.

My PSP 2000 is currently on firmware 4.01 M33-2.
So I need to know which is the latest firmware that I can upgrade to and won't get bricked?

u need to upgrade ur cfw to 5.50 gen d3 then only can updated to prometheus v2


u required to upgrade ur firmware to CFW 5.00 M33-6 then to 5.50 gen d3 then updated to prometheus v2, try look on youtube, their step can make you clearly understand what u need to do
