u need to upgrade ur cfw to 5.50 gen d3 then only can updated to prometheus v2
u required to upgrade ur firmware to CFW 5.00 M33-6 then to 5.50 gen d3 then updated to prometheus v2, try look on youtube, their step can make you clearly understand what u need to do

prometheus V6 is actually not a cfw. it's a module and it's still beta. and it's prohibited to further discuss about modules here.
your cfw is good enough. some users like that cfw coz they claim about stability issue and speedup memory stick function. i myself use 5.50GEN-D3 coz good support in homebrews and custom themes.

You also need to convert your saved games to new encryption that been use by 5.50 GEN-D3, otherwise 5.50 GEN-D3 cannot detect/load your 5.00 M33-6 saved games and will detect corrupted saved games.

Its a bit complicated, but  this is the way that I know to use the old saved games on new 5.50 GEN-D3, maybe someone can share other simple way to convert the saved games.

actually you have two choices, whether from 3.71 M33-4 to 5.00 M33-6, or from 3.71 M33-4 to 5.50 GEN-03,

3.71 M33 -4 and 5.00 M33-6 are the same developer (Dark_AleX), me using it, and i able to play all the latest games, so no need to worry if you want to upgrade to 5.00 M33-6..but before you play the latest games, you need to check it 1st whether the games is supported for 5.00 M33-6, if not, you cannot play the games...because the latest games need to encrypt 1st before can play for cfw 5.00 M33-6...

3.71 M33-4 to 5.50 GEN-03, if you dont want to headache and worried cannot play games and etc2...this is the right choice, all the latest games are supported for this 5.50 GEN-03..

i choose 5.00 M33-6 because i am using plugins for my psp, such as cwcheat, cxmb and etc..and its cannot support for 5.50 GEN-03, that is why im still using it...
