if u accidentally off..u shud do all that over again.. i believe ur psp is already refresh back to OFW (original firmware)..in ur case it will show in system information as 5.03.. CFW(custom firmware) shud show as 5.03 Gen-C Full.. here what u have to do for psp3k..

1-restore system default setting..after restore..just next2..just follow the default setting

2-after ur psp restart..go to system setting..off UMD autostart and UMD cache..

3-(i assume u already have ChickHEN or MHUspeed V3 in ur picture folder..) go to picture folder..then scroll down the picture til bottom..if u screen glitched..means u successful load CFW.. if it's hang..wait around 10s for psp to autoshutdown..or pull out the battery.. and then repeat this step until u get glitched screen..(glitched screen: sometime green colour & black and white pixel is everywhere)

3a)well step 3 cud be the worse part as u have to try again and again..if u stil unsuccessful doing this step..1-please check no other picture in ur picture folder other than ChickHEN or MHUspeed.. 2-if still u repeat too many times already..u might want to repeat from step 1 again..that helps me alot..

4-after the glitched screen, ur psp will auto restart..and go to game folder..and run Gen-C..wait til reboot again.. then voila.. u are good to go..

i downloaded ofw 5.51, now dint find any cfw 5.51
or any other cfw can replaces 5.51?

pandora trick also i dunt think can work it out to downgrade.. <- not sure about this though..

It has been long since I've played with my PSP Fat, the original PSP-1000 since my battery went kaput. Now, I've bought myself a new battery for it.
But, it's still running on a dated custom firmware which is 3.71 M33-4. Can someone please guide me on how to upgrade it to the latest custom firmware?
I believe I can't straight update it to the 5.50 custom firmware, or can I?

psp2k need to check the mobo..not so sure bout that though.. some mobo is smilar with psp3k..

but i think mostly on psp2k fat can downgrade FW by pandora trick.. u can google to know more..coz i'm not sure bout it..

ya, agree, if you cant do it byurself, its better to spend the money to let PRO do it for you...otherwise, you just brick your psp then in the end, u still need to take it to others to do it for you...

as long as ur on cfw, anything is possible. dat includes reading pdf too.

well the cr-5400 is a good product but if not mistaken, so far i still cannot find a class 4 micro sdhc over here. mostly are class 2 only (class 4 far more expensive for each)
