i can't help you on this because i really got no idea which component went wrong, perhaps u might want to pm those psp hardmodder or those who fix psp and ask them for quotation

I assume your psp is psp3k. So your psp cannot install GEN. Only ChickHen will run on your psp.

hey, i just lend a psp from my friend.. but the thing is it seems that i cant copy stuff into the psp.. i got the cable and i plug into it.. i can open the memory stick from my computer.. but when i go into the games and i copy games into it.. while copying the psp just auto-unplug.. any idea what's the problem? the cable? or the memory stick? @@

try to use a memory card reader to copy, see got same situation come out or not

ah. i dont have any memory card reader @@ i have the micro one only lol

maybe ur usb cable got problem coz u already said that it is auto unplugged by itself...have u try with another usb cable..if u have?

Anyone using PMP Advance 3.09 to play .mkv file?
i tried to play a 720x480 and 640x400 mkv file, both also fail.

The required file format



What is main / baseline profile?
Rough guess : Original movie can be 720*480 but must be converted to 480*272?

If need to convert, i can straight away convert it to mp4 file and play using xmb player. I dont see any advantage of this player.

Guys I'm new to the PSP.. need some help here. I just bought a modded PSP 3000 with 5.03 GEN-C. I accidentally off my PSP and so need to restart the psp so that i can play the games again. when i restart it and go to the memory stick, it only showed the 5.03 GEN-C and no games. I was told that i could reboot the PSP if i just select the 5.03 GEN-C and could play the games normally again. However, when i select it it just says 'the game data is corrupt' and nothing happens..

Because i couldnt understand the PSP language at all i decided to check other forums...and some bloke suggested i turn off the psp and hold square+triangle+select+start then turn on the PSP again everything would be normal..

true to his word, when i checked the memory stick all the games appeared but when i try to run the game, it told me "the game could not be started".

I just wanna know what is the problem here and help please?

The last time I used the player, the advantage of it is that you can downclock the CPU and still play videos in its .pmp format. Saves battery this way.

Main/Baseline profiles are the encoding profiles that your videos are encoded in. It follows a set of standards in which the hardware can play the video. In short, your video must meet the requirements before the PSP can play them.

press select then VSH menu will appear. chang umd mode to m33 driver

before u select 5.03 gen-c loader,you have to make sure that u load chickhen r2/mhuspeedv3/L.M.A.O. first unto ur psp since u already stated here that u accidentally off ur psp..it is the cfw enabler that will enable u load the 5.03 gen-c to play all those sparrow games..
