Should I need it later I sure will PM ONE of you biggrin.gif At the moment I just ordered Chris Botti & Tsai Chin Live in HK.
I guess Tsai Chin is a must owned concert as it has DTS-Master 5.1 & LCPM audio 5.1 shocking.gif .....which you can benchmark the 2 greatest audio mixed in the same disc!

Hi,

I hv de local speedy version :

VDO is gud but I seem to hv a bit of a prblm wif its dts hd odo -- there dont seem to be vocals cuming frm de ctr channel.. note pls tat its quite hard to discern this as if u normally sit in d sweet spot, u prbbly would miss tis as vocals still emit thru de LR channels..
De only way I can force vocals thru de ctr is by using de pcm track n force dpl thru my 7002..

Worth notin is tat, at first I tot its a one off prblm wif my disc.. then I got hold of a BDR - china version n its exactly de same..

Other than tat, MB is s must hv if u like his kind of music..

Cheers
D

Yeah, her vocals was awesome and make my system stand out even playing in mkv, dts format.

I can't wait my BD to arrive to test it out. I experienced before using its LPCM 5.1 is better than DTS-master 5.1.

How does it sound to you??

Good morning lads,

I'm tired of finding for metal band blu-ray, only that can be found was AC/DC, Meatloaf, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Nile.

If anyone come across bands like Maiden, Napalm Death, Slayer, Kreator, Destruction, Megadeth on blu-ray , alert me rclxms.gif

I whack DTS-MA 5.1 straight as preferred audio output.
I am not a Tsai Chin fan but it sounds good to me, it's more for my parents in law. laugh.gif

Just checked Tsai Chin got DTS-MA 6.1.
This is something that personally I don't like.
The mixing of DTS MA + ES make the back stage sound weird in 7.1.

So far the best HK concert vocal I have, it's from Hins Cheung live in GZ.
It got DTS-MA 7.1, making the staging sound very full.

Oh yea, Hins Cheung's unplugged version. Do you have extra copy of the BD to let go? Or, anyone selling it? nod.gif

biggrin.gif Got the chance to listen to a few songs since taukeh brought it over to my shop to test it out.

Anyway, the center loses out to his mighty RC-64 as it is ablve to provide a wider staging.

Talking abt concert, haven't able to watch George Michael Live In London. Busy nowadays sweat.gif

Taukeh, your room is more controlled with LENRD. drool.gif
Still got lots of things to learn from you.

RC64 is still peasant's stuff compared to other elite set up around. sweat.gif

piaseh.... I need to learn from you too. For the record, I ain't sifu. I am still learning by listening to more setup especially elite systems. Need to get my ears 'well' trained.

Still a lot of room for improvement. Will be having the LENRD up in front and those acoustic panels covering the front corners. It would be LENRD on top corner and 2' x 8' panel on each corner.

RC-64 is no child's play whistling.gif A really good performer. If my biz does grow in a rapid manner, I will surely get the RF-63, RC-64 as well as RS-62 for my HT room. The next step forward would be THX Ultra 2 setup with 2 PB13-Ultra or possibly SB16-Ultra. Praying hard that my dream comes true sweat.gif
