confirm fake bro. The tag is wrong, looks like an Asian fake tag. And if it is really an authentic Asian tag, there isn't any official embroidery that goes with the Asian tag as far as we know of. Another thing is i think the tag is on the wrong side of the sleeve...hmm?

Iswandy.. How can you tell the tag is wrong.. It looks so blurry la.. And what asian tag are you referring to? Or is it washing tag? I can't see any washing tag from the ebay sales page...

Tag placement doesn't really matter because it cannot determine the authenticity.. I've seen the same jersey having tags on different placements..

Anyway I'm not 100% sure if it's authentic or not because it is too blurry.... closeup on the photo doesn't do any justice at all:

Then confirm fake... But because it's blurry.. I can't dare to say it's fake. Or it's 100% authentic.. hard to tell..

Another way is to look at the seller's other items. Look at the Liverpool shirt. only one league badge on the sleeve and it is the worst badge ever.

Yup.. That Liverpool kit really looks fake.. The liverbird logo in the crest looks to big and bold as well....

because bro, euro tag is what we know looks like this...and if we blur it, there won't be any wordings on the middle. But from what we can see from the ebayer jersey, his tag has some words on the middle, so can rule out euro tag.


we can also observe that the sizing print is wrong. It shouldn't have the height/chest measurements printed which is accustom to euro version instead.

this jersey should also has its tag on the right instead of the left. Not sure why but fakes are prone to this. And i have not encounter any authentic shirt having its tag placed on the wrong side yet bro...hehee. Maybe no luck yet.

Oh.. you were referring to the price tag then. Yup, the features of european market and asian market does differ... For sizing info too but it's not 100% consistent though.... But one of the good indicators.

But yes.. overall I would say that jersey looks fake to me.. The embroidery of the crest too looks bad....

I checked at the photobucket link shown in the forum (link: http://s739.photobucket.com/albums/xx40/freestylers09/) and the 2 sample jerseys shown are suspected to be fake. Why?

1. The Barcelona 09/10 home jersey with IBRAHIMOVIC 9

a. It has a funny looking price tag:



My argument:

i. The style code is wrong. It should start with 3xxxxx and not 1xxxxx. 1xxxx style code is for old design.
ii. The colour code is wrong. 010 is for black colour jerseys/shorts.

b. The NikeFIT embroidery looks dodgy:



2. Liverpool 08/10 home jersey:

a. The price tag doesn't show the correct barcode sticker which has LIVERPOOL written on the white barcode sticker:



Well.. maybe because the seller didn't flip the price tag. Something like this should exist on the price tag... the white coloured barcode sticker with the team's name:

Just got two Newcastle jersey's today from NUFC official shop

However i were charged Customs's Tax of RM171+RM25 of disimbursemnt fee from UPS

Is there any way to get back the tax money? or how to avoid this type of issue in future...

I have called up UPS to explain on why i were taxed? She told me that if the product value CIF is more than RM500, i would be taxed accordingly

Tell me first.. how much was the total price of the 2 jerseys including shipping fee?

We've been discussing this matter for many months already... and I was already advised by the Customs Dept to spread the news in the forum...... ensure your total purchase is below RM500... else, you will be taxed. Maybe you missed out on it.. pity though.. but what has happened has happened anyway.

Bad news is there is no way of getting back the money. Good news is that you have two awesome authentic jerseys... And you have learn a new lesson, never risk of buying jerseys with total inclusive of shipping fee of above RM500. Especially if it uses UPS.

Nice jerseys though.
