hi guys anyone have any idea how the 16-105 SAL performs compared to 1680z? is there a significant difference in terms of iq?

to me the sharpness is almost the same..the biggest diff i can feel is the aperture..(and range..of coz)

@gouki jsut go for a few review..they are actually comparing sony 55200(which is better than 75300) with tamron 70300...

alot said that tammy has a better bokeh but very long focusing time and the noise during focusing is damn loud.....so alot of them suggest sony 55200...

try not to shoot portrait from low angle too often..it makes normal ppl chubby..makes chubby ppl fat...lol..
