i went to NAZA puchong today, meet up with phelix for transfering his earlier booking to me for 1.6sx. We talk to the SA there and he show us the spreadsheet for the latest stock for sales for branch dated 26 Jan 2010. take a look, there is no 2.0 Forte.. only 111 unit of 1.6 sx and 46 unit of ex in stock.

i think should be no problem to transfer ...
i just pay minimal booking fees ...
maybe this is the different of branch and dealer ..

i didn't pay anything to another dealer ...
i just signed my bank loan today at dealer's office when i pass my car plate number to them....
after i saw the real car today then i only pay my full payment to them tomorrow...
before that, i didn't pay single cent ...

The booking was made on 9th Nov 2009..
Im really tired of waiting... They cannot commit what have been promised..!!

if anyone is interested, here is my 2nd encounter with naza careline........

called them this late afternoon, asked what happened to their investigation into my original complain made 1 week ago........and guess what......they have NO record that i have made a complain!!!....

not good.........

have to give all my booking details all over again.......and guess what again..........NO record of booking.......again official line, 1-3 months after 'payment'.......which when i asked, she clarified means paying the 'downpayment' AFTER your loan is approved.......well, guess what, i have not made any downpayment, my sa never asked........

and the lady said she will investigate and call me back.........

to her credit, she did call back 1/2 hr later........said called my sa, now confirmed that i have a booking, and now say delivery next month........but unable to give ma a queue no. as said the 'storekeeper' is out (i think she meant inventory officer......), and said she will check and call be back tomorrow......

and guess what..........originally she said there is NO 2.0l forte in msia at moment, and may ARRIVE next month........later on, said they are STILL BEEN ASSEMBLED in gurun........what does people infer from this freudian slip.........?

so essentially, i have given up hope of getting the car before cny........and i suspect it will be in march or april, going by current info........for cars to be 'available' for distribution from source (whether plant or port) to actually driving off takes between 2-4 weeks.........i will keep booking, as i will not be in urgent need of car anymore from end feb........it can come in august for all i care, if a better/more suitable car comes along i will cancel.........and they WILL have to return my deposit, no matter what they write, as this is a breach of contract on their part........

RSY, KV, OKV.. from what he explain to me its the state location code. hahaha... not power la. i ask about white color, the SA told me no stock .. then he print this document out to show me which really no white color in stock. so i just take it back and scan it to share it here,..............

I guess it is not branch code as Naza have so many branch. RSY may refer to Rawang Store Yard. The rest I don't know .

they reset ECU and it's fine now.
after reset fuel consumption seems even lower than before.
i believe it's because of previously i rev so high and makes the avg FC high.. haha

see.. booking in 2 branches is the fastest way to get ur car.. just like what i did..
don't worry.. is transferable, but make sure same race. and tell them is relative.

Its USD3.99 if i am not mistaken ... but please bear in mind that it doesn't fit our Forte wheel cap cos the size is 55MM and our wheel cap is 59MM.

If you are thinking of getting sticker, i would suggest you go for that one Kia Forte is selling, looks cleaner and can cover the whole wheel cap

I called my SA, who earlier promised me that can get car b4 end of Jan. So, I asked him about the status, he mentioned they will receive a memo saying Ministry of finance have signed the whatever document (which I am not interested to know) on this Friday. Then next week onwards will be car allocation. So, definitely before CNY.

I told him, chance is given, if CNY still no car, I will pull back my booking + my down payment. I have been very nice and very fair since he has promised me end of Jan, and I am extending to another two weeks and see what they can do.

so fast give up meh. btw, bbear. u have give up on Forte right ? kindly pls go to ur new car web there and complain. If Forte is chowkitroad product then i believe very fast can get. If it is like Lamborghini or Ferrari, perhaps need wait, cause good stuff always need wait. Even when u tackle a pretty girl, need Q up also. HAHA

So fast give up? I think I am like bbear, I dun like to wait for things that I like. Don't mind waiting, if a firmed date is given at least you have something to look forward to.
