Me average 8.1/100km....but manual calculation is about 8.9l/100km (shell RON95 -full tank - go about 550km)
before this Petronas 8.6/100km...not done manual calculation......(Petronas RON95 full tank - go about 420km i think)

Went to meet my SA yesterday morning to pass her the LOU... while waiting for her... in the waiting room... the LCD was showing Peter Schreyer... (the man himself) doing an explanation of his inspirations of the design of the new forte. It's quite a comprehensive video but due to the volume being turned down too low cannot hear what he was saying.

The SA told me that the cars are already here... just left some approval by some Customs dept or something to that effect. She said can confirm by this coming Tuesday as the manager will discuss the allocation of the cars. Therefore it quite matches the explanation of the rest of the SA's dealing with us.

My only hope... the car comes before CNY. I just did some asking for the 2.0 model, she said if I choose it... it will take most probably after CNY. I told her in quite a loud voice that how can NAZA do this to all the buyers... She said her hands are tied and it's a Customs issue (Nothing new!!!)

We shall see. She say will call on Tuesday. I will update you guys by then.

Well the issue based on some reliable sources is the exemption papers for the CBU units registered as CKD. Its certainly not because of money cause customs would not hold anything if u pay the duties.

I hope the second batch will not have issue when we sell the car again. CBU declared as CKD.

Tats something new in Malaysia.
Oh maybe only the tag is fr Malaysia.

dude.. mine 1.6 clock 550KM (if really empty the tank in mixed city and highway)
forte's full tank is 52 but pump stop the fuel at 49L only.

550KM/49L = 11.23KM/L = 8.9L/100KM

and bear in mind that is mixed of easy driving and crazy driving (on 50% city and 50% highway)
if 100% highway driving with grandma driving style can get 700KM over.. (got Singaporean who manage to clock this once)

bro, i tested shell95 for first 3 tanks and will see if the esso performs better. But frankly i prefer shell cos more stations, cleaner, faster pump and credit card machine ... and will find out if it gives better miles after CNY (another 2.5 tanks to go and 1 tank can last me 1.5 weeks )

so sad lor. it was at the parking lot. all that left are pieces of my front plate on the ground. slight scratches n bumper moved abit la. theres a small gap between bumper n headlamp.

btw, there is also 2 black forte. WTL and WTJ. the WTL one so shiny oo. maybe already got treatment. if the owner is here, mind to share what is your paint treatment? i'm interested
