Well, it supposedly sends a link to your phone number and you visit the link with your phone browser, but it didn't work with mine, no SMS received.

Anyway, quoting the website:

still didn't the sms (with the download link) from nokia

the easiest way to update ur ovi maps apps in 5800 is thru the SW update software in ur phone, jz open it n tick Ovi Maps - with free navigation n update.

it's about time they give this app for free... else they'd lose out with all the Garmins ppl are using, lol. downloaded... looks nice, but have yet to go out to try.

aiya. the map loader needs nokia pc suite

not yet... will try it when going back. interface-wise, Maps looks nice, but Garmin much more user-friendly.

for me Nokia Maps work better, have hundreds of voices
