Well, it supposedly sends a link to your phone number and you visit the link with your phone browser, but it didn't work with mine, no SMS received.

Anyway, quoting the website:

the easiest way to update ur ovi maps apps in 5800 is thru the SW update software in ur phone, jz open it n tick Ovi Maps - with free navigation n update.

it's about time they give this app for free... else they'd lose out with all the Garmins ppl are using, lol. downloaded... looks nice, but have yet to go out to try.

compared to garmin mobile xt which is better?
i've never try ovi before although already activated the free trial..it just end like that tongue.gif

not yet... will try it when going back. interface-wise, Maps looks nice, but Garmin much more user-friendly.


Added on January 21, 2010, 7:16 pmtried the navigation screen... hey got some neat trick too... while in navigation mode, just slide the screen across, u'll be surprised! (4 screens in total)
