SW update is using the phone ONLY, without even touching the PC. provided there is an internet access

i guess i am too noob in using new phone especially those have WAP, internet, GPS, etc.

actually access internet does need to setup any account at maxis? (i am prepaid user), or the phone can stright access internet without register at msxis and it will direct charge thru the prepaid amount (reduction by every min usage)?

Its recommended u to remove ALL INTERNET SETTINGS if u only use WIFI .. if not ure credit will be deducted without notification. see FP for the settings.

Just keep MAXIS WAP and MAXIS MMS enuf nod.gif

Im glad that Nokia finally make OVI Maps free, but at the same time, I still think Garmin is superior despite being slower.

just follow the English voice sample .. if u put Mandarin shud be double folder

-> VOICES\MANDARIN_F\MANDARIN_F

if lets say the voice is male, rename both folder to MANDARIN_M .. but better i suggest u manually download the voice from fone nod.gif so the maps will auto set the folder ..

Added on January 21, 2010, 9:35 pmgoing to take some screen shots of the new OVI MAPS, brb ........ yahooo!
