i'm not intending the region code as my 5800 is already a '356-region' phone. the thing i'm changing is the product code... gonna use 0570196 so that i can update the fm to v4... heee....

just to say i experience tis twice in tis week:

phone received an sms
tried to unlock d phone using double tap on proximity sensor courtesy of mykeylock
phone failed to unlock
restarts by itself

Hi guys.. I have some report on V40 after using for 2 to 3 days...
1) There is this one instant where I restarted my phone.. When booting up, the phone kinda stuck at a blank screen.. Got worried, I press the power button and ON back again.. Same result.. Finally I pulled out the battery and the memory card, then it booted up correctly.. Data is still intact..

2) I always get the Installer is already running error. This error only comes up when I try to install any sis/sisx programs.. Try rebooting, still can't install.. Not sure what to do..

3) When charging when the phone is alr in keylock/standby, the screen turns on, and continue to ON. So manually turn it off. When i woke up, charging is complete, but my screen suddently remain turn ON.
I tried to Unlock the phone first, then only charge it. It automatcally goes to key lock.. Seems ok..

How u guys update? I tried the Map Loader, it says Asia Map is 1GB. WTF. Can't drill down to Malaysia.

EDIT: Oops sorry, can drill after all. Malaysia 29.1MB. Hehe.

how you guys know if nokia realeases new map?

ovi maps also can download thru the phone ka? cannot thru the computer first?
