go to contacts > settings > contacts to display> tick sim memory untick phone memory

now ur contacts all got a little sign on the left to indicate it's sim memory

now click options> mark all > scroll down to find COPY

and there u go, can copy to Phone

after ur done, u go back to go to contacts > settings > contacts to display > tick phone memory untick sim memory

done!

im wondering if any of u hav the same prob as me. whenever u plug in the charger or the charger finish charging the screen stays on and nvr dim back on. this happens only when the phone is locked.

Yes it's a bug in v40 firmware. the solution is to lock it AGAIN after u have plugged in the charger. Then the screen will turn off.

means no more charging the phone before i go to bed anymore coz the phone wit light up after the chargin is done

lol 1st time used my garmin today XD installed few months but never actually used b4. Used today to see how to walk from Berjaya TS to pudu plaza

epic phailed for using garmin lol for such a short distance... But it's really nice to use!

Thanks XM, I managed to replace the Garmin folder in my MC and then copied the sw.unl over. Somehow, the font become smaller than before. All these are new settings?

I always use manual lock, so no worries for me. Now if i need to charge overnight i will unlock it and charge. So the screen won't be turning on all the time.

i have been having problems with this phone since day 1 i bought it, last Monday to be exact... nothing can be done except wait for firmware update...

den fine, came along firmware update, i update it, most problem solved BUT another one occur, which is the damn memory card.

i did what XM and sklchan advise me to which is format MC + hard reset, which I did, and I never restore my previous data cuz nothing much needs to be restore anyway. What I did was only move back Garmin folder into MC + install it etc etc etc. Only Garmin.

den problem happen lor. Whenever I restart my phone, if got new msg comes in, it says "unable to detect memory card. Msg will now be stored in Phone Memory". I was like WTF la.

Tried a few times, still liddat. Went to NCC today and their technician tell me what u know.

Either ur software got problem, or ur memory card got problem. Duh like i dunno. I told him bout the class 2/4/6 mem card problem, seems like they ARE NOT aware of this problem. so what to do.

they suggested me to format phone + mem card which I agree to. After waiting for like 3 hours, i collect my phone, and ask them what's the problem.

U know what they tell me? Data in mem card got virus, thus affect ur firmware. WTF.

I only had Nimbuzz, Tweets60, Opera Mini 5 beta, Garmin and Winter Lite by Pizero installed! And only 1 MP3 in my mem card. So tell me la, where went wrong? Can Garmin be infected with virus? O_O Or the other apps being infected?

T___T But still I am not giving up on this phone... yet!

i'm not sure but it seem this new firmware battery drain a bit fast... monitoring now...

please set your msg to be save in C: and not E: because it's known problem since previous firmware the msg storing will failed if set it at E: drive, this error won't happen all the time but it will intermitten pop up the error of accessing mem card.
for the garmin issue, the size of the folder contain sure will different from others ppl because it all depend what they have as the map and others customise content... my garmin map cost me 174Mb which i manual build from malfreemap include all detail as well as both east/west malaysia topography map.
For now i not dare to say your comp is infected by virus...
