Regarding the Charging bug which the screen keep on lighting up after complete charge.

I have tried by leaving the phone unlock. And this way the screen won't be continue to light up after finish charging.

ya it's v40 bug, bluetooth that part I not so sure because seldom use bluetooth...

its there any function where you can block people from calling?

i have been having problems with this phone since day 1 i bought it, last Monday to be exact... nothing can be done except wait for firmware update...

den fine, came along firmware update, i update it, most problem solved BUT another one occur, which is the damn memory card.

i did what XM and sklchan advise me to which is format MC + hard reset, which I did, and I never restore my previous data cuz nothing much needs to be restore anyway. What I did was only move back Garmin folder into MC + install it etc etc etc. Only Garmin.

den problem happen lor. Whenever I restart my phone, if got new msg comes in, it says "unable to detect memory card. Msg will now be stored in Phone Memory". I was like WTF la.

Tried a few times, still liddat. Went to NCC today and their technician tell me what u know.

Either ur software got problem, or ur memory card got problem. Duh like i dunno. I told him bout the class 2/4/6 mem card problem, seems like they ARE NOT aware of this problem. so what to do.

they suggested me to format phone + mem card which I agree to. After waiting for like 3 hours, i collect my phone, and ask them what's the problem.

U know what they tell me? Data in mem card got virus, thus affect ur firmware. WTF.

I only had Nimbuzz, Tweets60, Opera Mini 5 beta, Garmin and Winter Lite by Pizero installed! And only 1 MP3 in my mem card. So tell me la, where went wrong? Can Garmin be infected with virus? O_O Or the other apps being infected?

T___T But still I am not giving up on this phone... yet!

how come so light/ Mine a freaking 219MB!

I think mostly from the Vehicles folder.  My original Garmin from etrade_pj was also 200MB+.  My Vehicles already 100MB+.  Now deleted all except 1 or 2.

im wondering if any of u hav the same prob as me. whenever u plug in the charger or the charger finish charging the screen stays on and nvr dim back on. this happens only when the phone is locked.

means no more charging the phone before i go to bed anymore coz the phone wit light up after the chargin is done

i'm not sure but it seem this new firmware battery drain a bit fast... monitoring now...

yups, Nokia give trial for 7 days and after that u need to purchase a license key in order to use it. Unless if u use 5800 Navigation Edition, then the Nokia Maps is FOC for ur whole life. 

As for me, I prefer to use Garmin software. Much simpler and easier, and the maps are always up to date.

R u sure u wanna download the file via FOTA on maxis? Mind u its 130MB size of file.

Anyway, I'm guessing the problem come from maxis connection coz so far, there're no user complains when they upgraded theirs via FOTA.

How bout using NSU? Its much safer. 

yes, the pic is from garmin but im not sure wether can delete it or not, i also dun like it to be there. wanna ask the pros here also

Did you reinstall Garmin after updating to V40?
I found that mine also same problem after updating to V40. Therefore I reinstall Garmin and everything back to normal.
