Can confirm my next model is 4745G now.

They say the hang issue is rectified now.

But what makes the RM200 difference between this model and 4740G?
Don't ask me to see the specs..sleep.gif

So it's the switchable GPU then. Ati seems to be core compatible with Acer. Not sure why.
Thanks. laugh.gif

Possible, but you would need to find the i5/i7, which won't be cheap, and open up your notebook to replace the processor + voiding your warranty....

So freezing issue still intact with this model?? Seems to me that pre-loaded Win 7 mostly got this problem and after formatting it, the problem mostly gone..my guess would be Acer bloatwares hmm.gif...well, still need Acer to find out about this problem nod.gif

I only had 1 problem so far, & it's still haunting me till now...i cant burn the recovery disc. I've sacrificed a lot of DVDs for it. It always got stuck during the verifying process even after a few hours, it just wont move. I've tried using an external DVD RW but the same problem occur. But i had no problem burning other stuff,so i guess it's not a DVD rom failure. Is there somebody generous enough to help me burn the recovery & the driver disc & post it to me? Or is there any other method on doing it?
