yes got i7 laptop.

all laptops are good and suits u depends on ur need n purpose.

The Intel Core i5-430M is a middle class dual core CPU for laptops and clocks (due to the Turbo Mode) from 2.26 to 2.53 GHz.

Each core is based on the Nehalem (Westemere) micro-architecture.

Hyperthreading enables the Dual Core CPU to handle 4 threads at once (for a better usage of the pipeline).

Compared to the faster Core i7-620M, the 430M only has 3 MB Level 3 Cache and a lower clock speed.

If you need, or can fully utilize the computing power of an i7 Clarksdale you wouldn't even be asking the question tongue.gif

For your uses, it'll be better to just go with the higher clocked i5 as most games still benefit more from said high clocks than they do from extra cores or threads.

or
2.53Ghz, 4 Thread, turbo boost up to 3.06 GHz, 3M cache ??

Either is good. If you have the money to spare, go for the better one, naturally. But the improvement that brings may not be as notable as you'd hope for.
