"The iPhone 4 will be arriving any day now"
"We'll be sending you even more info on the iPhone 4 in the coming days. Stay tuned."

Perhaps the forum layout can have one single post providing quick short FAQ that stays constant at the bottom of every page to combat this problem. People asking FAQ in hot threads has been a longstanding issue with LYN forum.

Agreed. Many online forums have a Summary post as a second post of the thread after the first post. Anyone in the forum can edit the Summary post with updated information so that the original poster does not have to maintain the thread on his 1st post. See here for an example:

Anyone can edit the "Quick Summary" second post and there is a history of the Quick Summary of what has been edited. So if one person kacau kacau deleted useful information from the Quick Summary, anyone can easily copy from history and post it back on the Quick Summary.

Mine too, just updated from "Maxis 7.0" to "Maxis 8.1"

how to update maxis ?

This is what I did then the update message popped up in a minute automatically:
- Open Setting\Carrier, wait for it to loads all 3 carriers: My Maxis, My Celcom, DiGi. Then close it by going back to Setting
- Open Setting\General\About. I think I viewed it for a minute then close it.

Then a message popped up within a minute asking if I want to update Maxis new setting. I am not sure if the pop up message is caused by what I view above or it was just a coincident that the Maxis new setting push message just happen to come thru at that time.

Can't wait for the iPhone but i don't think I'll be able to get it first launch; there have been suggestions that the prepaid phone won't be launched at the same time as contracted iphones, and the official launch is on a school night and i'm sure all of the iPhones will be gone by the next day! Might as well get one from Lowyat and pay for the free 500mb

I believe this is one of the reasons why choose local telco as well, local warranty and contract.
