Bru... its not tat i'm tired .. sometimes just frustrated with wat really happening in our society. I've been taught from young tat whenever i asked for
anything there must be a 'please and ends with a thank you'.

Btw: i got Mei2 barcus Berry 4000 planar wave piezo pickup. .. tested it ... WONDERFUL !
tat day i used the AKG C411 in Klang Parade.. not bad at all.
My buddie is now in Shanghai Musical Instrument Fair.. i told him to get me another 2sets of Dunhuang Type B strings.
Pls let me know if u like to have one of them as they are backup strings for mei-mei and she loves them; robust BASS.
I can pass one set to u @ cost price.

yeah ... u need good thick material and tough guzheng bag... made from nylon.. with padding and inner support.... not like those flimsy pariah ones tat they gave us when we purchased our guzheng.

i am arranging a special private guzheng workshop for mei-mei in next few weeks by a visitin guzheng master if he can spare some of his limited
time during his visit to KampungKUL. Wan to sit in?

Ohhh yeah .. there will be a Malaysian Open Chinese Instrument Solo Competition in Terengganu next year. I will update upon having more infos.

Cassie is away now in Nottingham UK having a 'jolly' good time tryin to adapt her new life there.
Seems tat she got to give up guzheng for awhile.

Oneperson: dun worry much about not able to read/understand Mandarin. I've seen a pure Malaysia Indian sitting for his G3 Erhu CCOM exam
last year in Sunway Mentari.
He is doing a course now in UTar Kampar campus... he didn't sit in tis year exam as too busy.
Music breaks all barriers mate. Do have fun.

Taman Budaya is just next to the traffic saman station.... u know where we paid our compound tickets or report in the event kena accident.
It's an old brown Minangkabau style building. Bru i paid and collected for my tickets sometime last week but i can still get it for u if u like.

Empire : you r right chinese erhu/zhonghu/gauhu are one of the toughest ... 2 strings and a bow in between them... not easy to
control. Slight mistake during bowing string A one might touch string B with the other side of the bow.

But it's indeed another beauty.

渔舟唱晚 is Grade 4 exam piece.

战台风 , 高山流水 are Grade 7 songs... 战台风 normally the so call complusory song.. dun no why

寒鸭戏水 is Grade 8. Mei-mei now doing all these songs as now she is between these Grades... ah pa often can hear them @ home.

I will be going into Taman Negara via Jerantut ; Kuala Tahan next week to one of my site ... near completion for handing over back to client.

can ask around the kamping folks there for ur erhu 'soundboard' ... there not only got ur 'soundboard'.... 'BIG' strip cat & elephants also
got... will be inside the for couple of days before out to civilisation.

but without Mei-mei & Brudder Faceless backup Dunhuang B strings.
Reasons given : Dunhuang need to protect the interst of their dealers. So no sale inside expo. Getting some in via shipment.

pls give me couple of days... say tis weekend i'll update more with photos here.

got some goodies inside the bag esp. for guzheng lovers.
