KUALA LUMPUR: Goldman Sachs International has emerged as a substantial shareholder in MY E.G. SERVICES BHD [] with a 5.04% stake.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed that it held 30.3 million shares on May 12.

The shares were acquired from the open market, according to the filing on Wednesday, May 19.

Cool. Now just wait for Goldman to goreng this counter.

So how did GS acquired 30.2million ???

It did not say it bought 30 million shares on May 12, just that on May 12 it shows they got 30 million shares. They could be buying from last year and no one would know. Only once they reach 5% then they would have to declared every purchase/sales to Bursa because they have become a substantial shareholder.

now the price has dropped back ard 0.55

Since when it become 0.55?

close at 0.505 today ... seems like moving back t othe 0.45 range

I'm happy if it drops more....

Some put the fair value at 77sen.

It is up to you to believe, not right and wrong way.

By the nature of their business , PE of 16x is said to be the fair value.

not following fundamental??dude,this company rocks fundamentally..i mean how often do you see a company with consistent increase in earning,not to mention consistently high ROE and ROA..ok some of you might argue that it's growth is dependent on government contract,hence uncertainty in its future,but hey it has got gov contract at least until 2015 ..i would say hold until at least that time man..
