unfortunately kumpulan permodalan felda have been disposing and pressing down the price to stay around 45 cent...

but queuing @ 45cent whole yesterday never reach my turn

Good profit margin, not to mention there's only a small percentage of people renewing their road tax / insurance online so there's lots of room to grow, though that depends on how MYEG plans to educate and make the rest of the population use its services as Malaysians in general i think are still a bit wary when making online transactions. It's also the main e-govt service provider, with its previous rival myspeed being bought over by myeg, while KOMMS(rilek) is in my opinion much inferior to myeg in terms of customers, site traffic, exposure.

Other than road tax / insurance renewals, lots of other e-payment services for the govt that MYEG can venture into ie taxes, permits, vehicle registrations, etc.

Balance sheet good, with quite a sizeable cash on hand vs liabilities.

the only downside is the PE is quite high after EPS is diluted by bonus issue in year 2009.

however, it was mentioned in the AGM about the optimism to achieve double digits growth in revenue this year due to higher internet penetration,
and more service kiosks to be added....
in near future, a new service - online mykad replacement will be launched...
besides, myeg will invest 40M in online service tax monitoring system, and in each subsequent years there might be launching of one or two new services, so the prospect is good..

hence, myeg can be considered as a high growth stock, worth to invest ..

Maybe out of topic here but which counter can potentially get govt contract to "manage' mykad petrol subsidies ? MyEG in this line of business ka?

in 2008 myeg teamed up with POS malaysia in fuel cash rebates.
Not sure if they are potential candidate to get mykad petrol subsidies contract

Kuala Lumpur, 15 August 2008 – Malaysia’s leading E-Government Services
Concessionaire, MY E.G. Services Berhad (“MYEG”) has teamed up with Pos Malaysia
Berhad (“Pos Malaysia”) to enable eligible vehicle owners to claim fuel cash rebates
through MYEG’s online portal at www.myeg.com.my.

With this arrangement, Pos Malaysia - the Government’s appointed agent to disburse
fuel cash rebates - will first verify the claim before making payment to the eligible
vehicle owners via money order within seven working days, or crediting the amount into
their bank account within three working days.

Vehicle owners can check the status of their fuel cash rebates at any point of time
through MYEG’s portal.

MYEG’s Executive Chairman Dato’ Dr. Norraesah bt Haji Mohamad said, “This new
service is an extension of our newly-launched online road tax renewal service in April
this year. With this latest initiative, eligible vehicle owners can now renew their road tax
and submit fuel cash rebates claims simultaneously using the online channel. We are
pleased that this agreement with Pos Malaysia will be for the benefit of all Malaysians.”

In June 2008, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had announced the
disbursement of fuel cash rebates to cushion the impact of higher fuel prices. Eligible
vehicle owners currently claim their fuel cash rebates of up to RM625 from the 683 post
offices nationwide or through Pos Malaysia’s online portal at www.posonline.com.my.

The Government has announced that the eligibility period for the fuel cash rebates
claims will be until 31 March 2009.

Concluded Datuk Norraesah: “As a leading e-government concessionaire in Malaysia,
we are committed to not only providing greater convenience to the public, but also
fulfilling the government’s agenda in delivering first class public services.”

Guess it is worth to keep some. Hopefully will come again tomorrow or the day after.. 3 days ago the volume spike a little with small price movement.

has been stagnant for months, today finally moving a bit.... hopefully the trend can maintain ...

ps. normally big sellers appear after 3pm

why??????? seller sell around 3pm??

donno, jz noticed from past few days that there were sellers putting 2-3K lots in the sell queue and whacked down the price around tat time ...
hopefully no more for today onwards

Confirmed the up swing now.. dun know how high can it go..

Read somewhere that there might be a IT/technology play now.... no matter what, MYEG I guess is still a worthwhile bet.

hope my patience will pay off soon.
