itje is currently working on a Topaz LEO ROM on X1.
So it's basically a Manila 2.5 for Topaz, on X1.

QUOTE(tompok82 @ Feb 1 2010, 10:34 PM) Guys, don't upgrade to Valkyrie FireStormLEO v5.7 24001. I don't think many people actually uses the phone in landscape mode...There's a huge problem when using the phone on Landscape mode. Probably because of the new Manila build. Reverting back to 23518 TR. If they don't, is it fast, safe, stable? I'm curious, eager to flash. |

The speed in 24001 is great, mainly thanks to the new Topaz Manila build 2011.
Anyway, any idea on how to activate the Manila 2.1 style SMS? I thought agent mentioned about it a few weeks ago. This post has been edited by xcen: Feb 2 2010, 10:48 PM |

Is it me or the Valkyrie 24001 is sucking a lot of battery juice?
I need further testing... |

Hmm.... Battery performance kinda weird. At 7am I had about 35% battery, 7 hours later when I came back the phone was off, battery too low.
Just now I charged, left the phone at 99%, 1hr 30 min later, 98%, somemore activated 1 time GAlarm and 1 missed call during that time. |

I hope that HTC would continue to develop Manila 2.5 for Topaz, hopefully all the lags like in HTC People can be ironed out.
It's amazing how much is HTC supporting their customers even after they bought their phone, and it's amazing how little is Sony Ericsson doing for their customers. |

QUOTE(kenlui @ Feb 8 2010, 11:22 PM) @legend1108 That's weird, how many messages do you have?Battery seems to be quite ok for me, a bit better than previous versions but not significantly. I think manila animation = weather animation. @xcen Nope, mine is okay. But somehow the message bubble doesn't display properly sometimes when I slide the keyboard out into landscape mode. Usually it takes around 3 seconds for it to completely load. |

To those 24001 build users:
Any of you experiencing battery draining problem? Recently I've found a solution, I've just tested it for a night and a day but the results seem promising. After using S2U2, I noticed my battery life greatly increased. From around 25% a night to just around 7% a night. My guess is that 24001 has a bug that does not automatically enable Sleep Mode when the screen is turned off, thus the battery drain. S2U2 manually sets your phone into Sleep Mode when you turn off the screen. (Can configure in settings.) Need more testers to confirm this. |

Go to Power -> On Battery Power -> Make sure 'Power Off in' is NOT OFF, and make sure 'but only Backlight' IS OFF.
Please report your test results to confirm thanks. |
