how to use our own mp3 file as sound when receive sms?

just put our preferred song,clip into windows- rings.

why a it's so slow to open windows file.? took almost 20seconds to pop up.
make me hard to explore windows file

mine is 1.14 stock...

I'm on 23540...and i'm having the sms problem =.=

And my phone SOD when i'm talking on the phone, another person calls in, call waiting shows up...person hang up..screen dims and dies...but i'm still talking on the phone

I've tested Activesync connection and yes it's true, disabling the charging function prevents disconnection after a little bit of movement.

what else we can do at manila 2.1? any cab that can make 2.1 more intresting like 2.5?

Anybody tried the valkyrie Leo v6.0.28232 ? I would love to flash but just realised that my current rom, 5.8.23534 facebook contact integration is working for good, as in whenever I get a call the contact pic will show up. It never worked for me till this rom, so unless the new build is good I'll stay with the current rom.

Besides that I deleted ameba in the reg. Heard that it will save some batt life. My batt can only last me 2 days max with data connection running about 6-7 hours a day.

im using v6.0 28232TR now. so far so good. the only prob i face is phone hang but after i delete the ameba thing seems like it ok now. the battery life also great plus im using s2u2. during phone idle it only drops 1% in 9 hours. its so good fr me. the facebook contact integration is also working. the contact pic show up.

i will give a try on that rom. i think if i delete the ameba thing sure phone hang issue will solve. they suggest ameba v.7 on xda but im not familiar on that.. maybe u can give a try.

guys.let share yours battery life. mine only last for a day. use from 8am till 11pm,battery flat d

With a total of about (not per day)

20 mins call
1 hour of normal usage like setting calendar and using calculator
30mins wifi which includes updating twitter, stocks etc
25 SMSes
6 Alarm Activations
And the rest of the time spent idling.

I can last 3 full days on a more than 1 year old original battery. (After 3 full days left around 10% battery then I charge.)

I'm on Valkyrie 23534 with S2U2.

And

With the whole day data connection on with HSDPA connection and auto push every 30 mins, lots of MSN and internet browsing,

1 day from 100% to 20%.

im using internet on my x1 for a whole day around 3 to 4 hours straight with hsdpa connection and 1hours on ym using fring make me to charge twice.
and im never use the phone for call, just internet purpose.

i think its not normal...

yew, so yucky i would say... haha, but still depend on user preferences.

erm, my battery. left idle, with data connected for push mail, n everything auto sync in 1 hour (weather, twitter,stocks.....).. the battery could last from 8am to 8pm i think. i never left idle b4 but expect the time.

normal usage, my battery could last me from 8am to 2pm. then change battery, last me to 8-9pm. then both battery flat.

Guess you're a damn heavy user haha.. I only use data connection whenever needed, not using push mail also. I check whenever I've time in the hospital.
