Nobody is forcing you to flash a custom rom. Tompok is merely suggesting to try a custom rom as the difference between a original and custom rom is very big. In the end of the day, it's all up to you which one you're more comfortable with and suits your day to day usage.

hey guys.. i went over to blackberry forum recently.. funny is, i hav no idea why..

they keep on say BB is so damn good. say they can do everything with their fingertips. information is fed to them right at the homepage. BB is this, BB is that.

then i was wondering, yes.. it is unique to BB that even facebook feed to homepage straight. but then winmo achieve 95% of BB unique features, and still doing 1000% more features than wat they can do.

furthermore, win mo juz need 1 unlimited data plan @ rm48 / month (digi), BB nid RM120 / month (maxis) juz for BIS plan. LOL

In the end of the year, there's gonna be 2 new processors from Qualcomm.
The 1st one is a 1.5GHz processor.
The 2nd one is a dual core processor, though no information is available on what speed is the dual core processor.

But then even if it's a dual core 528MHz processor, it'll beat a 1.5GHz single core processor for sure.

As much as I love Windows Mobile, Android platform is growing even faster & catching more market than Windows Mobile.

Microsoft themselves made a statement that they'll probably stop engineering Windows Mobile in the near future as it has no market.

Last thing i heard is WM7 is based on CE 6.1 "Chelan" platform. I read it somewhere that microsoft themselves said it thou...Not very very sure...

But then again, i have some feeling that thou its a whole new platform, microsoft won't just abandon the older devices because if they do that they would lose all their customers in one shot. Especially when the Android and iPhone is heating up the challenge with them.

Nahh, I'll just wait for it to be official, else, it's only rumors to me.

Even their website didn't say anything about WM7.

i really noticed that latest 5.6 23518 quite a battery drainer. mayb ameba is the one worsen it?

I want to move it either, yet I don't know how to do registry editing.
No offence meant to anyone either.

ah yeah.. anyway i've changed back to olly's rom. much faster afterall..

haha    its oobly. its wm6.1 running sense 2.5 without landscape..
urm, since its running on wm6.1 and  i'm a light user, i don't need threaded emails, landscape mode etc.. so i find that i can get things done faster on that rom compared to wm6.5 roms..

so, which 1 u guys recommend me to use?

21889 or oobly's?

when flashing the rom, the phone is not usable....i might missed out receiving calls...

Still got error image not found,and i've format my sd..btw,can i just trnsfer the Kovsimg.nbh file using storage tranfser?rather than sync trasnfer?

i got invalid model id error after the install bar come out from tri colour..

Or an error while downloading.
ROM files is very delicate.

If you're going to download using download manager which will use multiple connection, don't ever use more than 4 connections.
I've always had corrupted ROMs if I'm using more than 4 connection.
