Go to Power -> On Battery Power -> Make sure 'Power Off in' is NOT OFF, and make sure 'but only Backlight' IS OFF.

Please report your test results to confirm thanks. biggrin.gif

To those 24001 build users:

Any of you experiencing battery draining problem? Recently I've found a solution, I've just tested it for a night and a day but the results seem promising.

After using S2U2, I noticed my battery life greatly increased. From around 25% a night to just around 7% a night.

My guess is that 24001 has a bug that does not automatically enable Sleep Mode when the screen is turned off, thus the battery drain. S2U2 manually sets your phone into Sleep Mode when you turn off the screen. (Can configure in settings.)

Need more testers to confirm this.

thats a good thing. i also think 24001 drain battery so fast. i try to find the s2u2 program in xda-dev. is it by rotastrain?

is it thhis the correct link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...&highlight=s2u2?

thanks

Nope, here it is: http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/

Please read the 'read me first' for instructions.

Here's a nice theme for your S2U2, his website got video instruction on how to install it. You can go to Windows Mobile Theme section in XDA to find a few more nice themes also.

Actually it's very easy to install. Basically it's just install the cab, run iLock, soft reset then you're done. But to be safe, it's better to read the instructions.

This app is really great. The best strength currently is that after installing this, my idle battery life has greatly increased, more than 4 times better battery life. Besides that, I can read full text messages, and mark it as read or reply by just sliding. Call history, MMS and many more.

In 24001 we will have the standard WM6.5 sliding lock. We activate the iLock and soft reset is to deactivate the standard WM6.5 lock. So it won't conflict with S2U2.

Disadvantage of this app:
1. The sliding not as sensitive, so more pressure need to be applied.
2. The Caller ID got problem wan... It screws my ringer, people call no sound. Just disable it, the Manila interface will be there when people call you. The Manila one is much nicer to me anyway.
3. Phone will lag a lot when change settings. Lasts for about 2 minutes then OK edi.

S2U2 is really a true WM app, small program but with a lot of customization options, feel free to tweak it.

Registry tweaking.
Though I'm not as pro as our sifu sub lah, he knows a lot more in registry tweaking than I do.
It's very simple really.

If anyone wants to know how to do it, lemme know.
Lazy to type now, kinda long, but don't worry, it's super easy. biggrin.gif

Thinking of switching to HD2 now that agent has got himself HD2.
He'll probably concentrate more on his new toy. tongue.gif

Yerp, that one.
It works perfectly.

But some people may not know where to put this & that.
So the explanation is a bit longer.

nah.. tat day tried d.. still insist of getting QWERTY. im using remote desktop 80% of the time. so nid qwerty badly. summore, i feel xperia speed is still acceptable and ok with it.. haha..

remote desktop on hd2 is a nightmare. the keyboard came out and block the whole screen of me. cant even read a single thing. so qwerty is the only way for me.

anyway, it might be stupid. but i was thinking MSM7227 which is 600mhz + qwerty. haha..
