Not oc issue. it mobo chipset issue. 1st was the CMOS not getting power from battery even though new batt changed, causing BIOS setting reset to default each time power socket is switched off. SATA also giving issues, etc. Most likely the mobo reached it's end of lifespan.

i wonder what happened to the huge TR cooler laugh.gif

ASUS brand people have a misconception of BEST motherboards in the industry. Nowadays, not anymore. Every brand has their own top of the line series. Therefore I reckon it would be suffice to say that every brand have their high, mid and budget line of products. Heck, even today BIOSTAR, ECS, Jetway produces good mobo. Now we need to evaluate the after sales service and warranty issues only.

Already ended? Lolz...Now which mobo are you with?

@edmin, i categorized the mobo as low end as i feel very disappointed with the SATA controller which is a junk on the board. See it but cannot untilize it fully..... vmad.gif Their engineers are not solving this problem after sales.

I bet this mobo was produced when the high end mobos were still around. I think Asus priority was to focus on higher end model than lower end one.
