My favourite gaming news magazine, Electronic Gaming Monthly, will be made available in digital format finally! No more standing at kedai mamak magazine and waiting for the next edition to arrive, or sometime not arrive at all. If all of this pans out, this will be my first magazine subscription on my iPad.

Yes but most of the books are very old indeed and are public domain books. But if you have your own collections of PDF books then you can use the 'Goodreader'  app for iPad. It's very useful and can load other formats as well. I'm using this app to read my downloaded PDF books and magazines. It's the best app so far. Better than iBooks.

I'm only JB-ing to get access to processes, winterboard etc. No piracy for my iPad, so I don't see why the need for a banhammer.

Winterboard seems to crash on me. SB Settings still works, but crashes from time to time. The good thing is whenever it crashes restarting is SOOOO FAST

None of my current apps (paid and free) crash with Spirit.

Problem with using phone is that it's very slow. U will get about 200k speed only. If u use mifi, average speed is about 800k.

Still wish that Apple would update its iWork suite to work properly, all I ask for is numbers and keynote to export back to MS format >.< and Docs To Go and QuickOffice still have not released an iPad optimized version of their apps yet, haih

Awesome, was hoping that it would be a free update Guess I am all set then since I have the iPhone version. 14.99 is with the exchange support isn't it? I bought the 9.99 version at that time.

Not too shabby, word is okie, tends to preserve more formatting than Pages. Excel works just fine. I have not edited PPT before so not sure, only viewed it which I now use Good Reader for. The x2 mode really does make the fonts look fugly and since it is only x2 mode and does not scale, it really does not take advantage of the screen estate. That's my experience so far. I keep hoping for an update.

Ditto. I SO want to buy this app, but will wait for the optimised version, even if the update WILL be free - I'm also puzzled why this isn't a launch app.

Anoyone using whatsapp in iPad? I've done the SMS verification using my phone and activated, even I add my fern also can the name shown.. The prob is if wanna chat it says can't connect server..

wow, u did.. ur sms verification using other phone rite? using 3g or wifi i tot same for wifi, depends speed.. anyway which version ur using for the ipad?

u can write in notes, paste pic into it and email from there too. i think similar app should allow this too, for instance paperdesk, which u can draw in as well.
