I used my iphone as a wifi AP to connect with my ipad.

Method (1): You can browse the iPad apps using the Malaysian iTunes Store account using your computer. Search the keyword "iPad" and it will list a lot of iPad apps. Download the free or purchase apps to your computer and sync with your iPad later.

Method (2): Create a US iTunes Store account. Login through your computer iTunes with the US account. Sync yr iPad. You can either use yr computer or the iPad itself to browse the App Store to download the apps.

But I do have a problem syncing BOTH iPhone and iPad on the same iTunes Library list.
Whenever I try to sync the iPhone, I noticed that the Apps are "disable".... Enabling it will erase the previous settings/data and reinstall back the apps!!



From my understanding we can buy a single app that can be use for multiple devices. In this case, an iPhone app can be use with the iPad.
My iPhone 3GS is Jailbroken. Do you face the similar problem??

Yes, I do agree with you.
Initially, this Forum is meant for people who's expecting for iPad but now there are already users and would like to discuss in more details.

Early adopters like me are just purely "crazy" to buy at that price... haha..

I don't even realize if I really need "multi-tasking" now...

I was in Taipei last week. Bought from one of the Apple shop.

Yeah... I was quite surprised too.

I also used GoodReader.

It also have the option of drag the files to the iTunes (by selecting the GoodReader app first). Easy for moving files...! Wow...

Guys - Anyone have problems syncing apps on both iPhone and iPad using the same computer?

Do you sync with single accounts or two accounts?
For example, my iPad is always on US iTunes account and my iPhone is on Malaysian accounts.
I have tried authorize both devices with both accounts.
My problem is that I will have "Sync Apps box uncheck"... See screenshot below.. Thus I need to re-install gain...

I have checked the Apple Support Forum discussion and other Forum websites.
Most of the time, they said its because we need to Authorize the computer with the account. But I am not sure whether multiple account on different devices have similar problems or not.

Once I go back home, I will just sync my iPhone on a different machine and see if my iPhone have problems or not.

I just tried it just now and it works ...
Let me see how stable this will be...

Guys - actually you can still buy iPad Apps from Malaysian iTunes Account. No need to create the US account.

Yeah... Just use the computer to login itunes and search the keyword "ipad"... Voila!!
