QUOTE(dannygeni @ Apr 25 2010, 05:25 PM) No issues, I bought GoodReader, Flight Control HD, Doodle Movie Challenge and NOVA. My US acc only for iWorks. Think Civ Rev requires US account, could not locate in MY store, happened to the iPhone release as well, same goes for some Konami games.Added on April 25, 2010, 5:56 pm QUOTE(ianho @ Apr 25 2010, 04:42 PM) I use 3m microfibre cloth. Wipes the iPad screen spotless with no effort. It's actually a whole lot harder to wipe clean with the screen protector on. The plastic smudges a whole lot more than the oleophobic glass. No issues wiping stuff of the Martin Fields screen protector, not much fingerprints left on the screen protector after active usage. This post has been edited by mAxPC: Apr 25 2010, 05:56 PM |

QUOTE(irvene2000 @ Apr 26 2010, 02:23 PM) Internet surfing, word processing, youtubing etc. Basically, what most college student would do with their computer... I would call it a capable netbook replacement. At the moment it fits into my day to day life perfectly but when it comes to work there are some issues, but not that it cannot be solved without the proper apps |

I caved in and decided to purchase Underworlds again although I had the iPhone version, just to ogle at the new interface and such. Flight Control HD is nice, much more exciting than the iPhone app. Not really digging NOVA what with the two finger grenade throw gesture, but I love We Rule, so much better on the iPad than the iPhone thanks to all that screen estate. Didn't purchase Real Racing HD, went with Shift instead and it is a definitely a good game to show of the capabilities of the iPad although some people will say that goes the same for Real Racing
I am more interested in productivity apps though and this is one area where the iPad still lags behind. QuickOffice and Docs to Go still have no native iPad app, gah I bought Numbers even I knew I could not export to XLS only because I needed to edit some excel docs on the go and just have to burden my colleagues to reconvert again hehe LogMeIn is awesome though |

QUOTE(wei @ Apr 27 2010, 11:33 AM) Is there any subscription offer yet? Zinio has but you subscribe through credit card, they do not use the iTunes store. Reading magazines on this thing is beautiful! I think the price is roughly comparable to a hard print copy. And yeah agree on the iPhone and iPad app thing, they should make universal binaries like how IM+ and 1 Password Pro did, so if you bought the iPhone App you also get the native iPad app as well. That's why I didn't buy Plants vs Zombies, does not add anything new lerDamm they should start subscription man! Yearly or at lease quarterly. Have to watch what app to buy lar, my iTunes credit drying up I still can't justifying paying another round of apps since most of them are in my iPhone. Should provide us some sort of upgrade price since we own the iPhone version Things for iPhone USD9.99 Things for iPad USD 19.99 |

Also from another forum I frequented, NeoGAF. extra glossy? hmmm how come mine isn't lol unless i got used to it Posting this from Starbucks KLCC Lvl 3. http://twitpic.com/1iu9id Posting using the wireless bluetooth keyboard with the iPad on the iPad dock with the Martin Fields screen protector on. Max, you didn't warn me that the SP is extra glossy and fingerprint prone. I guess I'll have to stick to my regimented routine of wiping the screen every time I touch it. QUOTE(stringfellow @ Apr 28 2010, 06:45 PM) Wei, that case would have been a alternative for me, I was considering that before going naked. Good design too. Amen to that You know wht they say, once you go naked, there's no turning back. I ordered the ElementCase Joule already, arriving in 21days. They had to machine-tool the Joule from a solid block of aluminum before packaging it and ship it to Malaysia. |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Apr 30 2010, 04:59 PM) My criteria for a case is even stricter: It has to fit in the iPad Dock. With that in mind, going naked with that high grade wrap is the only way. Yeah I got to agree with String on this one. Most of the cases which allows you to prop up cannot be used in conjunction with the dock, either or at this point. And I do not want to keep yanking the iPad out all the time. To me the dock will not weaker over time, unlike cases which uses flaps to prop the device up with the exception of the Incase case which I got to admit is pretty nice |

Here I am sitting @ Starbucks whilst waiting for String lol when I whipped out my iPad it was already on and warm guess might have ter-press the button when putting into my laptop bag. That was over 5 hours ago. Very little battery drain what with my wifi on and Bluetooth.

Did not like the official iPad case, was really a dirt magnet but would not mind the speck if it allows docking to the Apple dock

QUOTE(keyven @ May 4 2010, 12:21 PM) I am thinking to do a bulk for this item. Anyone interested to join? Was considering that earlier, but at the time it was not ready for shipping yet and ack the shipping cost was more expensive than the item. I am leaning more to the Speck as it allows me to use the dock, these book type cases tend to restrict access to the apple dock to the added dimensions unless I dremel the dock Read below in the link..
