Wow...

Am i spamming? No, im discussing about Razer's products, WHICH IS ABOUT THE TOPIC, "The Razer Thread XI".

Why don't i report you instead for spamming and not discussing about the topic?

It doesn't say Razer Appreciation Thread or anything so i think i am free to discuss MY bad experience with Razer products.
*
I agree with him as long he comments with Razer product that he personally owns... Everyone is entitled for to their own opinion provided it comes with a proper justification.. therefore not considered as spamming..

Even Wikipedia states that :

"Razer products have a reputation for having "low build quality" as their cords usually develop shorts, their buttons usually develop ghost clicks, their mouse wheels tend to develop a loud squeaky noise, and glossy plastic comes off as very cheap"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razer_USA

I owned Razer Mamba and Mako.. but i'm the Lucky one with both products working well... And when they do work well.. u will fall in love with Razer...

Its just my opinion... U dont wanna dictator who suppress the freedom of speech..

the side buttons no grip one, just the top part got rubber-ized grip. its different from other razer mice. other razer is more rough, this imeprator is more smooth and it doesnt really attract much dust. u try ask hellkeeper.. the surface seem to also make any water on it vaporize quickly.

no la, its still like those other razer mouse rubber type, but the feeling is better.. i personally have to say it provides better grip and more comfortable touch feeling on the mouse.
u can ask hellkeeper regarding this also. hehez.
@hellkeeper, the clicks are firmer than any other mice produced by razer. and i don click that hard >.< it kills me to click or spam hard clicks on my mouse. hahah. moderate moderate usage and protective towards a mouse is important to maintain its newness.~
hehe. victor ur imperator rma how long edi? any news from moderno?

Lol..sorry about the suck ass thing.
When i tried the Goliathus Speed, i was using the DA. That piece of brick was so hard to control because it was sliding everywhere. Poor teflon and lousy pad i guess.
poor teflon? if its sliding around everywhere means the teflon is working like it should.
dont blame good teflon for ur apparent lack of mouse control.

Anyway, agreed with everdying though..
If the mouse can travel smoothly, means the teflon is fine and maybe ur apparent lack of control of the mouse was the problem?
I had a gaming mouse once which its feet had worn out due to extreme usage, the friction is terrible..
The mouse could not even glide smoothly..
so, if your mouse can glide smoothly, means the teflon feet is good lol..

For your information, it's a discussion thread, not a fan-club. Users are free to post their opinions. Even i would have the same view with razer, not only me having issues with their mouse, even a few of my other friends. Please stop those fan-boys thingie or this thread might be locked down permanently. thanks in advance

moderator, its not that we are being fan boy or what so ever, can please check what they have typed first, its abit rude and i personally felt it is not properly put in sentence, i felt they are not respecting the people.
if they say things nicely, we will reply nicely. but they didnt put it in good sentences, instead they juz come in with razer sucks lar, this shit lar that lousy product.

i mean its ok to criticize, but not to be no manners. be polite at least.
how can u expect people to give good response politely when u type something which is insulting and no manners. rite?

thank you.

Enough already Micheal~~"
This matter had been settled so no need keep on harping on it please?

@Mod - Erm, the person did come in to the thread and said "Razer suck ass"
And another person came and attacked another forumer's intelligence and etc?
Mind if I enter your discussion thread and say something as rude as that?
Hypothetically speaking that is.
I am no strong fan of Razer nor do I hate them but people whom enter this thread and replied with rude statement tends to incite flame war don't you think?
To be precise, IF both parties could discuss like grown up adults, this would not happen.
To state a point is okay, but to state a point harshly, I would think not?
Ending my justification here.
I am not supporting Mr. Micheal's attitude nor the attitude of people whom enter and simply throw a harsh statement to people here.
Just wish people can enter here and comment gracefully and constructively..
Sorry I wasted a post on this matter.
Hope Mod don't ban me..
Thanks..

Sorry about that mod, u can try check the previous topics and posts i posted. some ppl came in and said about the mouse not so good and bla bla, i do give them my opinion politely.

but for the case just now, its just too rude. i am a fan, but i do noe what is right and wrong. i do not want people to come in this thread and scold razer cuz razer mistreated them.

Please make a new rule to those who wanted to post something, give negative feedback or opinion nicely and politely, not scolding, not insulting.

thank you, i do not what to continue this argument anymore, thats all i wish for mod to do. smile.gif

well technically both of you two were rude.
1. he mention razer suck ass, he is in the wrong.
2. The rest of his post is his personal view and you used it to attack him biggrin.gif...and you should not have called someone retard just because he/she hates or claim razer sucks. even if you guys wanna argue, do it in PM like what XiuKeong mentions. Lets all stop it here ok.

ok then, since some of my posts had been deleted, i do not wan to argue anymore. next time i just keep quiet if the same case happens, which means if someone come in and bang razer, i just don make noise k? and only give response if the person is being polite.
sorry then.

back to the question, teflon feet works fine meaning it glides smoothly. if u wan it not to glide smoothly, can take off teflon feet. follow the instructions given by razer on how to replace ur teflon feet. but forget bout putting back the new feet after peeling off the old one.
this should help ur mouse glide rougher. (hope this is wat u wanna hear)
thx

not telling you not to make noise, just don't make it a personal attack against the user smile.gif. chill a bit. Razer stuff are good but recently their QC seems to be not that good as they use to be. newer mouse like DA or Lachesis always got issue (i having issue with lachesis and 2 friend of mine who owns a DA had their mouse died suddenly.)

Hmm good teflon on the deathadder?? I don't think so. The skates are so thin that the bottom of the mouse was actually scratching my mousepad. Now i know why my small goliathus control has white spots on it.

Lack of mouse control? i control my mouse the way i want it to.

Actually, Ever's statement is correct. The teflon is supposed to help the mouse glide with little friction, which makes it easier to flick the mouse here n there during gaming. Of course, where it ends after flicking is entirely up to the gamer's skill.

Well like i said, i couldn't control it because it goes a little more to the left/right whenever i want it to stop.

I have stated my reasons but the mod have deleted it because i was using it to reply the flames that mike started. I'll say it again.

I bought the Speed at first. Coupled with the DA, it was slippery and hard to control. I have no idea why razer wants everything to be shiny, in fact they reversed the design where the rubber grip should be on the sides, not on the top surface, and that adds up to the lack of control as well due to my hands sweating.

So i bought the Control. For the first 3-4 months the Control served me well until one day, the texture of the pad changed for no apparent reason. Everything was very slippery again but it was even more slippery than the Speed. I had both pads at that moment.

All of what i've said are based on my style of playing.

Ah, now I understand... If so, you might want to lower your sensitivity settings. What DPI are you currently using now?

[I'm guessing, the full 1800 of the DA?]
