Well like i said, i couldn't control it because it goes a little more to the left/right whenever i want it to stop.

I have stated my reasons but the mod have deleted it because i was using it to reply the flames that mike started. I'll say it again.

I bought the Speed at first. Coupled with the DA, it was slippery and hard to control. I have no idea why razer wants everything to be shiny, in fact they reversed the design where the rubber grip should be on the sides, not on the top surface, and that adds up to the lack of control as well due to my hands sweating.

So i bought the Control. For the first 3-4 months the Control served me well until one day, the texture of the pad changed for no apparent reason. Everything was very slippery again but it was even more slippery than the Speed. I had both pads at that moment.

All of what i've said are based on my style of playing.

Well, then wouldn't it be more towards user preference?

I mean, i am no fan of Razer. Yea, i have a couple of their products but i do have my fair share of complaints about them as well. Lycossa was bad, some of the mouse GC was bad etc. But again, i kinda like the Goliathus Speed. I dont take it as being slippery. And to be perfectly honest, it was meant to be slippery if its a SPEED version no? And comparing it to my previous Everglide DKT and the SteelSeries Mini that i have used before, it do make kind of a good pad smile.gif No comments on the Control Edition as i never tried them before.

At least thus far, there is no complaints from me about the surface except for the fact that it looks as if the top layer is peeling off tongue.gif And as contrast to you, i felt that the Salmosa is by far the worse mouse i have ever used from Razer.

I'm not using the DA anymore but at that time i was on full 1800 because i didn't want to install drivers except to update the firmware once.

Also, i didn't want to change my Windows Mouse settings because anything lower than 6/11 will cause frame skipping.

About the Speed pad, i might try it again if i have an extra change lol. I can't really remember how was it like but i CAN definitely remember how the DA felt on the control pad.

Aha, thought so... laugh.gif I never use 2000 DPI on my Copperhead unless the game mouse sens is too low, and somehow i'm too lazy to press Esc and adjust the settings. Howver, i do use 2000 DPI for CATIA, Solidworks and AutoCAD. Helps me pan things around here n there quickly. Right now i'm using only 800 DPI, and even that i have to lower it sometimes for games like Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

I don't know about OF:DR but if it has a developer console, you could just adjust the sensitivity.

Usually the "~" button opens up the console.

Furthermore, unlike mamba, battery is reli desperate can go any lapsap shop and buy..
Coz uses AA battery nia..
Simple ritez?
Coz i travel way way more, i prefer the Orochi to the mamba..
That's my opinion..
Take orochi and take kabuto and you are set to go anywhere jor..

I agree with you on the battery thingy. how i wish mamba is just a plain wireless gaming mouse which operates on double battery. OR at least some good quality built in battery which can lasts for 1 month? well, too bad. smile.gif
i am trying to look for one very narrow mini usb. anyone know where to get? if not, i have to peel off the rubber coating and replace with cellophane tap to get myself not shocked by electric.
purpose: to make a mini usb for charging dock. biggrin.gif
ordered a 15 inch laptop sleeve, hope it fits my laptop..
though the dimension says cannot fit, but hopefulyl can squeaz abit ba =x

who said the batt is not good quality? have u done any tests to prove it?
the mamba obviously sucks alot of power when gaming...so any batt that size also wont last long...
its made as a compromise to size and weight.
u want more power? can u stand a mouse thats much bigger and heavier due to extra capacity batt?

well...if i can adjust the sensitivity by the mouse..i would...
i would just like to leave the sensitivity on the game and window by default...
that just my preference...
well, another thing is...why dont u adjust the sensitivity thru the mouse when u can??
on my opinion, that is one of the point u bought the mouse right?? if not, then better buy some pasar malam mouse that cost around RM 15+-??

well, that just my thought, no hard feeling yah...

no 3 pin may MAY spoil your charger dock
best way is to plug in the usb thats y i use most of the time wired
according to bro stevenng
turning off the scroll light will be less power consuming cuz obviously the light power is not needed

Yeah, it really helps to change DPI on the fly. OF:DR employs real bullets ballistics; so have to really fine-tune each shot for that one-hit-kill headshot. That's where low DPI comes in.

The issue pop out of sudden with no changes made to my comp, hardware or software wise

I try solving it software wise by changing properties upgrading firmware etc, but of no avail so must be the mouse itself
