I'm just guessing that I should be able to get used to the DeathAdder pretty easily seeing that it's similar to the Mamba. I have yet to see the Imperator in person. I should be able to judge whether or not I like it when I do.

I have a similar problem too AFTER using My Goliathus Speed Edition for more than 1month.. In my own personal opinion the edges on the Goliathus mouse pad seems come apart easily and attract dust more easily, compared to my QCK Mass(still looks brand new)... i guess its no properly sealed... that why i'm now using QCK Mass instead.

dunno whether others having the same predicament

actually thats a pretty common problem with almost all cloth pads.
maybe now with the QCK its not peeling, but later theres a possibility.
i wont use qck mass as its 6mm thick, the legend also now understands why 4mm cloth pads are nice tongue.gif

Actually i choose Qck Mass because i wanted it to be thicker than Goliathus (4mm) and feels better than quality (maybe it feels colder than goliathus) - its just my personal preference and view..

and also more cusion for the shockwaves from my downfiring mako which makes my mouse jitter..

Its the same on my Goliathus Speed as well. My previous DKT also suffers from the same problem after a few years. The top layer is peeling off from the bottom part.

yea, tats y... at /k/ kena ppl insult on razer. its not a good idea anywayz.
they do not know much about razer, so they don deserve to judge the product that way.
everdying, i agree also, i tried my old DA, find it more comfortable for me than imperator cuz of my pinkie finger..
gonna get either mamba or orochi in couple of weeks.

So does that mean u prefer da over imperator now? blink.gif

oh look a razer thread.

anyways i've been using razer salmosa for few months now and i got say. its pretty good for me since it fits my hand almost perfectly. the only problem is the edges on the right click button. its kinda uncomfortable for me since it disturbs me a bit

i do want to know what kind of mouse pad should i get for salmosa. any suggestions? if the price is reasonable i would buy it

Razer goliathus speed edition? They have 3 sizes depending on how big u want your mouse pad to be. Biggest is like 70
There is also the Fragged edition if u want your mouse pad to look cooler nod.gif

bro victor, comfortwise, i really dunno how to comment, its really a personal preference. to me, when i claw i feel imeprator is more comfy, but when i palm, DA is more comfy smile.gif
design and physical look, imperator pawns, it has better design and the scroll which will not turn purple over time (DA scroll turn yellow-brownish after a while of usage, then when mix wif blue light wil produce purple scroll..)
hehe.. however, the imperator razer logo is not as bright as DA.
oh yea, my goliathus side like smooth only. im using speed edition smile.gif
no sign of it peeling off from its rubber base and it look as if its brand new. bought it for nearly 6 months edi... hehe loving it so much man!

Guys, you want a decent mousepad that is comparable to Razer Mantis and QcK Mass, get mine - CM Storm CS-X Battle Pad DP (Cooler Master's brand). Same size as both, same thickness, same durability, the price is only RM49.00 at All IT Hypermarket. LYN Garage Sales sellers are selling it at RM65.. or you can also opt for the Roccat Taito mousepad.

I've tested a Razer Kabuto before, TOO thin for my liking sad.gif

Well, the kabuto tracks fine for my orochi so I rather not complain much bout it..
And its quite nice as i can easily put it inside my laptop when i go travelling..
Other than dat, i have no special love for the kabuto..

CM storm mouse pads?
Lol..
Sell em but dun even bother to use em..
No chance yet..
Maybe this is the time to try?
Lol..

Wow.. for me I'm still stunned at the price of the Razer Orochi and Kabuto.. most of the road warriors cum gamers I know buy the Razer Salmosa 'Asia Edition' to fit their budget haha.. then again I'm still a high-school student so nearly everyone I know have a very limited budget. Anyway, you're selling CM Storm products but haven't tested yet haha.. I suggest you test them! Know what you're selling biggrin.gif

Thankiu for your great suggestion..
Prefer my kabuto n my destructor and have no immediate plans to change my mouse pad when they are performing at 110% efficiency..
High skool student no budgeT?
Swt..
Hellkeeper is a high skool student and yet u see hw much peripherals he owns..

Road warrior buy Razer Salmosa?
LOL..
Saw many Road warrior on DA v2, Imperator, Mamba..
Razer Salmosa Asia Edition is too small for me anyway..
Prefer my old DA where its bigger..
Well, I might as well stick to my mamba and enjoy..
