QUOTE(twL @ Mar 17 2010, 11:28 PM) successful after 2 or 3 tries, Yes, that's what I heard. The most common reason is the mismatched of information. i just remember i got several calls from maxis, i forgot. even my brother's number also have this problem, they said my IC number are different from their database... I wonder is that an excuse by all telcos? |

Last I remember when Tunetalk just launched, you can't MNP out. Not sure if it's changed.
For Data Unlimited, there's only 1 plan that does not have FUP, if I remember correctly. On the topic of Fair Usage, personally, I don't think any service provider will have much of a choice since infrastructure is always finite. |

Hi TWL, thanks for your reply. I think you should lodge an complain to DIGI. Otherwise, they wont treat this as serious matter. I have asked the OCS, how many person has lodged the complain. The answer is 1, that's me.

QUOTE(epool86 @ Mar 21 2010, 10:07 PM) quite a shock to read this report It has been shared in Kopitiam.Malaysia`s DiGi Telco Cheating An Estimated Half Billion A Year source: http://mathaba.net/news/?x=623094 However, I believe "cheating" is an aggressive word to describe. The users can do changes to the settings. I have changed my settings on the first day, there is no voicemail, prolonged calling tune and activated missed call alert are more than enough to minimise missed calls and voicemails. Well, DiGi has some mistakes too for not making such settings changes availability announced to all. |

QUOTE(epool86 @ Mar 21 2010, 10:07 PM) quite a shock to read this report I don't really believe the author's claims after reading the whole article. As for the figures given, there is no proper proof or reference to show (at least a graphical statistics, maybe?). I also read that to unsubscribe broad. Few other things that I've noticed:Malaysia`s DiGi Telco Cheating An Estimated Half Billion A Year source: http://mathaba.net/news/?x=623094 1) Business internet - RM68? Since when? 2) "Digi users are forced to call their voicemail" - you have the option to take up vm to mms or vm to e-mail, or you can just use MCA instead. 3) Charging for retrieving voice mails is "CHEATING" huh? In some countries, they even charge for incoming calls There are many more that I can think off. Conclusion : I just think that the person who wrote that article is just another dissatisfied customer who didn't pay bills & make complains because of not getting waivers. |

Few things to check : 1) Message centre number - +60162999902 2) Sending method - via GSM & not via GPRS 3) try restarting phone & see whether it helps. 4) anyone else (your mom, dad, siblings) using digi & able to send out sms? 5) try changing phone & then send sms. If everything is fine, call DiGi & check your account. |
