anyone know how digi video call charge rate ?

Same as normal voice call rate, all telcos are applying the same rate as well. voice call rate = video call rate

SweetPuff, could you please ask the people in charge to widen up the 3G bandwith in Kota Samarahan? The line is freaking slow compared to Kuching that can be fast like hell 24/7.
Perhaps DiGi missed out the point that Kota Samarahan has a lot of students since we have 3 institution her (UNIMAS, UiTM and Maktab Perguruan).
Hence, fast internet is really essential indeed.
If kuching can have fast internet, why not samarahan.
i have point this out to digi via facebook and twitter ( @Digi_Telco) but no further action has been taken.
SweetPuff, i hope you would make a highlight on this issue.

Yes, free. smile.gif
I don't see the reason you should be charged when both are implying the same concept and rate.

I'll highlight this to the network guys, but I'm not the CEO, I'm afraid tongue.gif

As far as I know, we're doing things gradually, and plan to have 50% 3G penetration by this year's end. So, plans are in the works to widen coverage to ease congestion.

Anybody familiar with DiGi MiFi? http://www.digi.com.my/internet/mifi_overview.html

So I'll need to subscribe to Explore Plan for RM 158 and pay RM 100 advanced payment and I'll get the device? Since there is no contract, I can terminate anytime?

Or this package doesn't come with the device and I need to buy it separately at RM 360?

Please enlighten me as I just ordered an iPad. smile.gif

@ fruitie :
from what i understand is, u subscribe to Explore 16GB @ RM158 every month and they'll give u RM30 rebate on it.
You need to pay RM360 upfront with the purchase of the device.
I suppose they'll tie you up to 1 year contract..

There is no contract as per mentioned here: http://www.digi.com.my/internet/mifi_compare.html

I read it on DiGi Broadband sub-forum, it says RM 360 for the device and RM 100 for advanced payment. So I can register today and terminate tomorrow but oh well, the hassle to go in and out of DiGi Centre when it is not near my house and I have no transport to go around.

oh well, so it's RM360 + RM100 upfront. and the rebate of modem is only entitled if you stay with digi for 1 year (RM30x12 months)

Hi, would like to enquire about Digi Super Long Life package.
Is it cumulative?

Meaning, say I get the long life package, then a week later reload another RM30, is my account now active for 12 mths, or 13 mths?

Thanks! =)

It follows the date you purchased the SLL package, it will be exactly one year from the date you purchase. No matter you top up every month, it will still expire one the date.

question. can i sign up to iDigi package without purchasing the iphone?

the last i asked the answer is not. but i really do not understand since the theory behind is that telco subsidize the iPhone and earn from the subscriber's subscription. therefore if i don't take the iphone means telco are getting all the earning without the need of paying subsidization. so why don't they do it?
