Oh there will be a more cheaper price sub from Rythmik?? any website or info on this, i am saving up for a Rythmik sub at the moment.

A number of people have talked about this new 12" Rythmik sub. Do you mind to share with us which 12" model are you talking about?

I also have no info on this news, the only 12 i know is the F12 and F12SE in the market and all beyond RM3k. Hope there is a solid news of Rythmik's new 2012 models perhaps??

Look like Rythmik amps are better than mine since they allow phase knob adjusting between 0-180 degree. Mine only on and off switch between 0 and 180.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a active subwoofer for my stereo setup. Budget is around 1.5k. My room size is 9'x15'.

My current list is like:
klipsch sw450
wharfedale sw250
wharfedale sw150

Which subwoofer is recommended? Any other brand subwoofer that is nice beside that?

SW250? It was selling at ard RM2k when new.

Juz get a Paradigm Sub 15..... very happy now

No doubt.. if price not an issue it is a worthwhile purchase.

For almost the same price .. I'd go for 2 x sub hp & 2 captivator, 4 pb13 ultra, or 8 fv15hp lol

The advantage of the Sub2 is massive clean bass in a relatively small footprint.

If you don't have any space constraints, then going multi subs with the likes of Submersive HP, Captivator, etc would I suspect give better performance.

That said, the design and size of the Sub2 is much more sexy than the rest.

I would probably go for multiple SubM HP if to compare apple to apple unless space is really a constraint like jchong mentioned. When want to sell it off, it is also easier.

Roughly what's the price now? how is it if compare klipsch sw450?

Guys, I'd like to hijack to ask how does the old SVS PC12 Ultra perform?

Currently I am using the B&W 675 but I have not been quite pleased with my Sub, even considered a dual sub recently.

Saw one used SVS PC12 Ultra for sale in the local, quite tempted to have a go on this bolster sub

Please will anyone give some advice?

Just trying my luck on asking about BK Monolith Subwoofer, it's quite a famous brand in UK but not sure if anyone has had them before ?

All these sub that I am considering are too heavy, so I wish I could aim one and hit then no need to try so many other sub again

It will smoke B&W 675 with ease . Even the PB12-NSD kicks its a**. My past experience as well as audition of B&W have no positive memory at all for movie purpose.

Its numerous years award winning sub is literally erm.... Nevermind about it. I think the mag has never really audition a good sub for even lesser money before. Wait, can't blame them. They have to jaga their rice bowl.
