I suppose it to be 3 shipments. Enjoy the prime status for 6 months.
If you make another 3 shipments while still on Prime, your status is automatically extended for another 6 months from the original expiry date.

Recently I have a shipment of 4 packages ship by comGateway via DHL. But 2 of my packages was mistakenly delivered to Kuching sorting facility, now I have to wait after Raya in order to receive my package! Is DHL that bad?

Received my package via DHL today (after held by custom since last Thursday). Also kena tax + handling fee by DHL RM20 = RM78 extra payment. My package value only RM300+! Why custom stricter nowadays? I never had this prob before. And, local DHL not so helpful as well. mad.gif

My shipment cost is usd42. But in total for item + shipment value still below rm500.

The weird thing is the tariff code imposed for the item is totally unrelatable to none of individual item in the package. I'm thinking to investigate this more for future event.

Thanks for telling! I used Comgateway recently and had a painful experience with DHL. Think I'll switch to usgobuy. rclxms.gif

I just checked with the shipping rates on usgobuy and I found out the shipping cost a bit way to high.

Previously I had 4 packages (16 kg in total) at ComGateway shipped using DHL, including the insurance, surcharge, consolidation fee etc, the cost is USD 134.20.

But when I use the shipping calculator at usgobuy to check for 16kg, I got the following figure:
DHL Express USD 241.48
USPS Express Mail USD 231.89
USPS Priority Mail USD 193.43

You should be able to amend the HS/Tariff code with customs before agreeing to clearance.

The sender should really be putting the proper codes, or you need to instruct them which one to use, to make sure there's no problems on import.

Couriers never look into it in too much detail and seem to just apply any code which may not be very closely related to the actual contents at all
