just updated the firmware after receiving it this evening..

the new firmware sure kick up the gps capabilities..

before upgrade, hard to lock satellite, after upgrade, even inside house can lock.. cool..

need to learn more things about this phone from u all..

maybe you can try to consider us.. n86 AP price is RM1288 and Original zitron or avaxx set at RM1390

price both of you almost the same..but they help install garmin and other apps.

its rompatcher embedded in firmware files..so u need to flashing after all.. and all file gone..

ps : rompatcher only can be install on hacked phone..even u sign it, still cant install to unhacked phone..

I've collect my phone.. They changed the camera, now testing if there is hot pixels. About the dpad noise, they realign my dpad so now no more clicking sound. For the phone heating then battery goes dead, is battery problem I assume cause they changed the battery... Wanna clear the dust at one u before cny LOL

Nothing unusual.. But then the camera I suspect is taken from other phone.. cause the chrome part is scratched.. do they reuse parts? but reuse or not confirm now not a single hot pixel already.. perfecto! except the dust lar.. close one eye..

whats with ovi map? can we use the free navigation forever with ovi maps now? see it at website.. or we r still stuck with 10 days navigation license only?

news said that its free forever. but when i start to use, they say my navi license expired and will lead me to the license store. updated maps still the same. any idea anyone?

You see few pages back, budingyun posted a link to download the free navigation ovi map. Just download and install no need uninstall anything from your phone..

cool, downloading it and will try it out.. coz previously i update everyting boz ovi map still 3.0.. check my phone only support 3.0 ovi maps..

So hows ur N86 so far? It's one heck of a non touchscreen phone. Good for sms junkies. lol.. Love my camera now, used to have a dead pixel..

install successfull.. this evening can try navigation.. hehe.. thx for the info on free ovi map navigation..

experience so far has been great, esp the gps part, always have full 5 bar tracking on lockdown inside car less than a minute.. been saving my travel time for the past 2 day to 3 new location for my meetings.. hehee

but, sometimes, my phone seems lag or hang a while, then ok.. is this normal?

btw, what cool apps recomended to install?

Swt, at least you can play some games. I don't know why all my N-Gage games all cannot play. It just pops up an error.
