hi all, i have been eying on this phone for quite sometime and plan to buy it soon. i need to ask some advise from those who are experience here.

i went to survey the price for original set they selling 1400 for the phone but they say +200 for the software like garmin,divx,youtube,dictionary,screensaver and they will give free upgrade for life.

my question is "doesn't most of the software come together with the set?" and for garmin can we download it from the net our self?

thanks a lot guys..i figured that its a rip off..for software to cost rm200.
i asked them specifically wat software are they giving and the guy took out a booklet and show me..garmin, youtube, dictionary, screensaver..blabla..

coz i rmbr reading frm this forum u guys say software can dl.
then i ask him "can't i juz download those softwares from the net?" he said, "no,you dun hv the serial key,but we have and on the net are trial versions"
and he say "those forum ppl dun knw anything,they use the software may have virus blabla".

i instantly felt like this person is lying so i jz said i will consider n walk off..

am goin to join u guys soon.
after much survey, i see atlantis shop in ss2 the best price and many frens recommend them for their good price and survey
can't wait to get the phone

price both of you almost the same..but they help install garmin and other apps.

anyways, noob question here but any1 of you knw how to turn off the gprs internet usage coz ever since i put in the sim card, it keep charging me when i check my unbilled amount.
