i just get my self R501 MK-II, but unlucky i only can hear 4.1 not 5.1

and found it b'coz one of my DVD port rosak liao!, any help for this situation??

Very easy.

Just make use of the additional stereo inputs like Line 1 and Line 2 on the R501MKII (one of the amazing upgrades of the R501).
You need to get yourself another similar cable like the one u plug to your dvd player, then your TV is set with the R501MKII already!

My R501 MKII... sound that should come out frm Center speaker coming out frmRear Left speaker.
And for Rear Left become Center Speaker.... ....
Theres no sound frm Rear Right also.
Cables problems ka? The wires that connect to back of woofer all correct according to the label.

Just plug as what you are supposed to plug and you'll be fine. If you try some funny wiring, then..

Most probably it's cabling problem.
How about you unplug everything one shot, then plug back all again. There have been many users that complain they can't seem to find the fault (because it's hard to detect), but once unplug all cable and plug back, ok liao.

However, if really you keep trying and trying still cannot, maybe you can go to the Showroom and ask the guy there to show you how with the Showroom demo unit.

Solved my problems dey . Actually nothing wrong with the cables.
It just that i plug audio cables for the rear & center speaker to the sound card wrongly.

HElp mw. I got one R501 now i want to setup this one to DVD player. But i dont know how to setup. i was try to do.but i can hear only 2 of 5 speakers. I dont know what happen. Who know to do that, plz show me. Thank for helping. I dont know where i put this question. plz forgot this mistake.no more in next time.

Anyway, hope you got the correct DVD player at first, which normally have lots of RCA output (audio, red + white)

Then check your DVD player manual, see to to get into the setup page and choose surround or 5.1 config,

Carry on, check is all the speaker working,
Which you can SWITCH them in pairs just to try does is sound,
