hi there... i'm a newbie here... my friend recomended me the r501 speaker. so i'm thinking about owning 1 set. any details about the speaker set? and i'm using the speaker set with my ibm laptop... can the speaker match the sound card of the laptop? coz the laptop dun have any good soundcard like the desktops... so? how ? btw the sound card is from soundMAX... hope you all can help me out with this. thx lots

R501 is a 5.1 surround, you need external sound card if you using laptop, i belive most does not have 5.1?

Id you have budget like R501, you may try also S2.1D, 2.1 stereo

how is S2.1D, 2.1streo compared to R501? the diferrences? the price? the sound quality? bass?

R501 MK2 = Mid, good price surround

since i bought r501 mkii (refer page 5), i let my pc on 24/7 same goes to my speaker...i seldom switch it off unless me have midterm holiday ...(balek kampung laa)..will it harm my speaker? its hot if i touch at the back of the subwoofer...

still satisfied with it but i just realise the front rite speaker sound slower compare to the left one...erh...wat possible cause might it be yerg?

If nothing to do with the speaker try off it ot standby mode, this will give u longer life and less heat

Double check the problem if it really problem by the sat or the port? Or even you source? Have to make sure, else bring to Edifier Showroom to check / warranty

I want to add 'TWO R401' at a computer but one computer has one output for sound,everyone tell me how to put two R401 at one computer or there is a way to add it !!! Because as all know R401 is good in bass n sound but one not satisfy me, i need two but i had this problem!!! Someone expert teach me plz!!!

However, do call up the Showroom in advance to place your order there as the Showroom usually doesn't have ready-stock for remote controllers.
