not necessarily.......i have gone off for 2 weeks, and the cars starts with 1 crank on return........all 3 of them.......

i suspect there is a problem with the battery, or there is a leak........

i was eyeing cruze but it never made the july09 launch.......so i had to stick on to my 14 year old car a bit longer.........until forte, and yes, i STILL have to hold on to the old faithful.........dunno for how long more........

price will now depend on how it is brought in.....if under chev brand, then expect full taxes and excise, and the 1.8l car priced at about 100+k..........

if they can 'nazarise' it, which i doubt (chev wouldn't want that), then expect about the same price as the 2l forte, ie 90k or so.........

which is still grossly overpriced, for something which sells for aud25k...........

the oz version comes with a 6 speed autotranny, which is an overkill for an engine that is relatively underpowered........a bit like the 17" rims in the forte sx1.6l..........

Called to PJ Sales Centre and know that CRUZE come with 1.8 and price below RM120K (Dec'09 news)
But anyhow, FORTE is the best

i book my car on 29/12.. will it be considered 2nd batch as well ?

Looks like Forte is very very strongly built.. Air bags are working and front crumple zones are pretty nicely done.

Accident withe New OTR Forte in China.. so strong until the bus on taking corner flipped and Forte's Driver only minor facial injury which may caused by Airbag deployment .

For those that do not read mandarin, the coverage was saying the Bus ran over the red turning traffic light at high speed.. in collision with an upcoming Forte at pretty high speed as well..

Hopes it wasn't due to Forte couldn't brake on time / lost control and had to hit the bus / failed to avoid collision.

Wahh..still got plastic cover at seat..so new mehh...so sayang

Finally I've booked my white Forte 1.6SX on 2nd Jan...hopefully will get it before CNY though my SA cant promise when can get the car...

it strongly build confident on me now towards this car...
do hope any driver can update the rpm reading later...

I think I'll ask my SA to check for me again...hope the bank will give me a best rate since i'm not yet to sign anything though the load has approved.

Sorry to off this topic awhile..Regarding our deposit that we paid for the booking according to my SA that's not refundable at all even your load has rejected (I asked coz I was thinking to cancel and go for pug308) and he dare to ask me to call careline to confirm this. He said only Forte deposit not refundable but other kia's car 100% refundable

You can check again.. many of us canceled and gotten back deposit.. mine was RM2k deposit / booking fees.

The 1 I applied is in Rawang..I believe you can get in any PBB due to now interest rate is getting low..2.75% is the lowest I heard..
