I honestly believe my gut feeling that it's just a technical rebound. I believe the prices of gold and silver haven't reach rock bottom yet. Anyways for myself, I just bought a little silver and gold and left it in the safe deposit. Will visit it next year or in 2 years time tongue.gif

Ha ha, I bet you will peek at the gold bar and silver every week. Nobody here can resist looking at their silver for more than 1 month, in case your mom or maid accidentally throw the "rubbish" away..

My prediction, will be hovering around USD 29.50 and end around USD 29.00, which I think will cause a big drop on monday.

Do understand, china national day has already started yesterday, most of my contacts are on holiday, expect to see many china people in genting this weekend. smile.gif

Added on September 30, 2011, 8:19 amHey guys,

I'm reading this and this guy summarise it very well, the US are going into major serious trouble and we are in for a hell of a ride in our life time. We don't need to stockpile our food, but we sure need to sit down and think carefully what we are going to do next if and when the USD collapse.

https://www.kitcomm.com/showthread.php?t=93752

I suggest all of you traders, stop trading in USD with foreign country, I've already started to pay supplier in HKD or RMB and AUD. direct conversion. Next, this is the time to stock up even more silver or gold, physical. If banks collapse because they are linked directly to the USD, then all the paper gold will be gone.

National bank may not fare so badly, it's the super small and the super big one (like CITIBANK remember?) have to be saved by other people.

Lastly, I suggest if you have USD now, convert them to PM or RMB which has the most product in the world to offer, and in my opinion, will be the replacement currency for world trade in years to come.

chef

These are my personal opinion but don't ignore the problem, don't buy silver just for trading, these PM are going to be for survival soon...

No offence. This the main reason I choose the least hassle when transaction silver even the price slightly higher.

Imagine when the price is double or triple in the near future and you wanted to exit silver for any reason.

You call them and they said the same thing, but in the reverse manner.
1. Sorry, everybody are selling now and I am attending the most reliable client only
2. Sorry, my stock is piling up to the max that I can take.
3. Did not answer call.

I believe everyone had taught me that investment need enter and exit strategy.
When I asked newbie (I believe so) that bought silver at a bargin price whether the seller is buying back and the spread, he/she respond do not know, I cried. sad.gif

After this happened, i really sien. Sell cheap also kena "hiam" by ppl. Sometimes, they can't distinguish "ready stock" and "pre-order" price. More risks  and time involved to holding physical silver. If spot rate does really matter, then they should play paper silver instead of buying physical silver. If they think spot rate is dropping, then what is the rational of buying now? If he think he can get 163 somewhere else, why offer to buy 172 from me? If you are investor, you don't mind to wait few weeks to have your stock arrive, unless you are a reseller. Willing buyer, willing seller. This is true.

This is the first time i came across this problem. That's another reason why i so upset. Lesson learnt from this matter.
P/S, I won't disclose the name of other 2 buyers in the group lah, If you see my previous post, please don't jump out and raise the dispute again lah. Just you know I know lah. I know you are reseller too, you sell your things, I sell mine lah.  If you still want to pre-order panda 2011, i still can help you lah. To show my sincerity, William sell 165 per pc, then i sell you 160 per pc will do lah. Minimum 30 pcs. Somemore, William required 10 % deposit, i require 5% only o. Take it or not, you decide lah, PM me if you want. If you don't want to take, then we all know your purpose lah.
I apologize to all forumers again for posting topic not silver-related topic. Sorry lah. My apologize.

This needs to stop by now. Last night chunyen2020 has already said that this will be reported if it didn't stop last night. Let's move on and continue on silver discussion, which is the main reason forumers come to this thread for.

I'd say silver price will be kind of flat today with a down trend hint. To close at 30.10.

Still need to wait for Hong Kong market to close.
If after Hong Kong market closed, the price is still going down.
Then this time will go down until USD27 like that.
If goes up, then it's gonna break USD32.
I suppose. Hehe.

hope the silver price can go down below 30 and stay there for few months. Many coins will become cheaper, 1 oz dragon. Gainesville Coins still don't want to reduce the price, i think they expect market might rebound soon. If the price stay below 30 for few months, the price 99 usd is not sustainable.

onebuck, you are correct on the buyback if we were.to consider buyback policy.

during price rush, reliable seller would always buyback as claimed unless they closed shop already lah.
my fren managed to lock pamp suisse kilobar at 1stopgold @ rm3.2k during recent selloff. lucky guy!

i think we will look around 29 by end of day today.

I don't really worry about sell back. If silver is really becoming rare soon, why we want to sell our silver? Sell for fiat money ? If silver still have potential to go 400-500% from 30 USD to USD 150, Then i don't mind selling at 140 USD. Many people will buy from me.

So my thought is , if you really consider silver as "money", then why scare nobody buy from you ? Price does matter. Be a real investor instead of speculator, man ! Buy in every dip ! Average down your cost, you will be rewarded in the future.

Haha. I'm waiting until 8PM then only throw out my guess. tongue.gif
Now watching the market.
KITCO closing price will be the judgement price.

I think they predict that if we were go to the fall of fiat currency, there will be chaos! tongue.gif

Anyway, if the price keeps going up, we will hear alot of "my fren bought silver at cheap price, my fren buy gold at lowest price" Let's not envy them, we are still at the low point of the spot price.

Imagine, if the price go to USD 26 and USD exchange rate becomes 3.00, then you will be able to buy lower than him!! Today 1stopgold silver is RM 3.6k still cheap, two weeks back it was selling RM 4.6k so buy now and you are still a winner... smile.gif

Hey hey!! you are guessing my price too... so does it mean we will share the roti canai and teh tarik if the price goes to USD 29? biggrin.gif

chef

If we are right, I buy you 2 canai and 2 extra large teh tarik. smile.gif

Haha.
Price speculation race.
Anyway, anyone who wanna join the free teh tarik and roti kosong, give a precise speculated price la, ie USD XX.XX.
So that can decide better.
Three more hours to go.
No shocking activity so far.
